rapidorca22 said:Hey my fellow NFL Ultras, our white lady in distress urgently needs your help 🙂

I posted this exact same thing on the Liverpool FC thread over at Corner Bar (too many cooks in the kitchen, right? 🤣), so no need to reply to both threads. One response is plenty...

Basically, I'm typing up a term paper on my fax machine (my passing grade depends on it) titled "Liverpool FC - 100 Years of Love" 😍. I want to wrap it up with that amazing Smodinsky piece about Liverpool and the NFL Ultras—you can actually hear it in this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXXDDqubtG0

The problem is, I can't find the full text anywhere online (looks like I'll have to listen to it a hundred times and transcribe it word-for-word 🙂, but whatever...)...what’s even more critical is if anyone knows 🙂 when, where, and exactly where this text was originally published, so I can cite it properly in my paper 🙂
Was it an article or column? In a newspaper or a book? What date or year (depending on whether it's news or a book)? Which page number? All those little details 🙄

Honestly, I've had this video saved for years, and aside from Dvornikov's "stately kings and emperors" 😬, I've never heard a better tribute to this eternal white love. I've been waiting forever for a chance to use it in one of my papers during my never-ending education...I don't want or need any ending more perfect than this, so I'm counting on you guys to help me out.😠

Thanks in advance! Sending love from Liverpool, San Francisco 🙂

What a babe.

cosmicridge6 said:Fighting the Terror Machine is basically like bringing a slingshot to a tank fight... You get jumped by 200 trained thugs in their own city and you’re gonna tell me "hey, don't swing a bottle or a chair, let's be gentlemen" and end up in the ER?? Give me a break... I'd hate for anyone to walk away from a fan brawl with more than just a few bruises, but let's be real, that's how it goes... Do you even know what those guys look like?? Or what their training sessions are like? We're talking MMA fighter level, I'm not even exaggerating... And what's our 200 guys from Miami, averaging 165 lbs, supposed to do against them? It's stupid... If they invite you to a field, sure, decline if it's not your thing, but if they jump you in a plaza and you've got bottles and chairs right there, obviously you're fighting back... No matter how much people dislike you, what you guys pulled off in Poznan was impressive, hats off to you. I wasn't at that scrap the night before the game, but anyone who was actually there saw the Bad Boys hold their own, while the Lechovac guys were hiding from them most other days... It's easy to talk trash... I won't even mention what you did to us on game day, that's a whole other story, but the Bad Boys were easily number one in Poznan...

That all holds water, but what's the difference between a broken bottle and a knife? Between a marble table and a rock? Why is it somehow "fairer" to throw a bottle from Jack at someone's head than to hit them with a knee?

The average fan is maybe 180 pounds, 23 years old, drunk, high, and couldn't care less about cardio. But then there's "this guy is bigger," "this guy is tougher," "this guy is trained"—that's no excuse because you're starting from the exact same baseline as him.

Anyone who trains MMA knows an 180-pound wrestler in peak condition can toss a hundred-kilo guy around like a toy, and if they know how to strike, they can knock out a giant. They know where to aim for the KO. If you don't know how to scrap, don't show up to the games; go watch hockey instead.

Of course you would. We're nowhere near that point.

Jesse Campbell said:Fan fights are just street brawls, not organized UFC matches between trained pros. Because of that, they often spiral out of control with people using whatever they can grab—rocks, bottles, you name it. It's always been that way...

I couldn't care less about the fighting itself. It’s never been the reason I’m losing sleep from excitement before a big game. But if I have to choose, I'd rather stick to the old-school way fans used to scrap about ten years ago than deal with some fake "fair fight" nonsense that completely kills the whole point of being a fan...

Obviously, you should be a decent human being first and a fan second. That means you don't smash someone's head in with a rock while they're lying on the ground. You always have to make sure you don't end up regretting ever being born because of a brawl. Whether you're the aggressor or the victim...

You nailed that last part. I think the younger crowd gets it better than the older groups who used to cause all the chaos. To me, hanging out at a local park feels more honest. At a park, you won't get jumped by three kids using a telescope when you could easily take all three of them in a fair fight. Or you won't deal with those rigged 50-on-10 scenarios where everything was decided beforehand, which is just plain frustrating.

So this is what a modern Euro group looks like! Hopefully there are more videos coming, though I really hope this one wasn't shot on a Nokia 3310. 😍
Bad Boys - Part IV in Fans ·
It’s the same story as that flare some "hooligan" tossed into a crowd of kids a few days ago. When you start stirring up primal instincts, you'd better not involve children in the mix.

The whole thing is staged. Mamić knew exactly what was coming, which explains his recent behavior. Everyone saw the writing on the wall, but in America, the real issue isn't whether someone gets convicted—it's whether the actual sanctions ever stick.
Bad Boys - Part IV in Fans ·
It’s pretty obvious Mamich planned this whole thing. Now that the inspections are kicking off, he’s got the perfect excuse to claim this is just Johnson’s personal vendetta against him... trying to set him up. I wonder how Mamich is going to look his good buddy Zevic in the eye when this all goes down.

Austin Collins6 said:Chill out with the hype. This doesn't have anything to do with what we're actually fighting for... the only thing that matters is if there’s finally enough political will to prosecute him for the stuff that should have gotten him kicked out of the club and the league already.

There's plenty of reason to be hyped because this is just the result of his recent panic attacks. Honestly, he would've gone down regardless of this specific mess...

Jacob Newman74 said:Look, here's the deal: the Department has to strip an outstanding football club president out of the sports world—someone who breaks the law in several ways, totally "transparently." By getting rid of him, they gain massive points with the working class, so they definitely have every incentive to pull the trigger. If things are actually playing out this way—and they are—why is Johnson and the entire political establishment waiting a year and a half just to remove one guy from the scene? This man is clearly breaking the law right in front of everyone in America, yet nobody takes actual concrete action. It’s all just talk, talk, talk.

Someone, for whatever reason, is stalling the whole operation. Is it an incompetent Secretary who can't manage to kick a blatant criminal and liar out of sports—especially one who toys with politicians and leads them by the nose—or is there some backroom interest at play? Maybe Mamic is connected to a much wider circle of people than we know, God only knows. There's a reason for this.

Over the last year, we've seen various crackdowns, like the Index investigations, where they processed hundreds of people in record time—dozens of universities, files, accounts, perpetrators, witnesses... everything was scrutinized. Not just looked at, but actually went through the courts and resulted in convictions.
So you have to wonder: if they could resolve hundreds of cases and lock people up in less than a year, why can't they apply that same logic to one damn individual? It's obvious Mamic is in league with enough people to influence even Johnson.

The Index thing is just a distraction. All those professors who were taking money before the investigation started are still taking it now. Completely unchecked.

This is pure gold! Especially since we all know there isn't a single fanboy among us... it's what they call the crème de la crème!

Before I head to bed, I just have to ask you idiots... where have you been all these years? The league has been rigged since day one. You show up to Washington, D.C. for the derby this year and start celebrating missed shots and bad passes, even though we all know the whole thing is fixed. Are you guys actually sane?

Thank God most of the crew I used to run with at games is still around, so my credentials are easy enough to verify. Even with guys from other groups. 😉

And look, I never claimed to be a fighter (I said I was a wild kid starting at age five). Not because I'm not physically stronger than 80% of the people on this forum—because I am—but because violence was never my thing. Still, I've seen more action in the streets than you have in movies. ☕

Come on please, stop trashing every thread on this board with your insane posts. 🤔

Don't mess with me. I weigh 20 pounds less than you, but I bet I could bend you like a spoon just like Uri Geller. You've just been waiting for me to move away so you can start acting tough 😍

Laura Mitchell87 isn't exaggerating, she's just being repetitive. But with an attitude like yours, you aren't getting anywhere.
I've been online for maybe two years, and I honestly thought the Black Knights had the most trolls on the forums. Now I see your internet propaganda is unmatched. Our issue is a bunch of random idiots posting nonsense, while your side has plenty of "serious" fans posting nonsense, intentionally omitting things, twisting facts, and lying to themselves... Every single mistake the Black Knights make is dragged through the mud on these forums, and you can find plenty of people who don't know the truth. Meanwhile, your sense of untouchability has been going on since '86...
In the States, every guy knows exactly when the Black Knights got jumped in their jackets, while your crowd barely even knows about the times you guys got beat up in the streets or in D.C. Real tough, huh? You were tough, you probably always will be, but this whole "we're the greatest and always will be" talk is on the level of my five-year-old son, who thinks the Los Angeles Dodgers have the best players in the world and that his dad could take on Superman and Batman at the same time...

Laura Mitchell87 isn't overreacting, she's just unnecessarily repeating herself, but with your mindset, you'll never get anywhere.

Actually, no—even Pantagan got the point, even if he doesn't agree. You just can't grasp it, and honestly, it would be an insult to my intelligence if you actually did.

Gary Green32 said:Look, you're right. Let's look at the facts. Just compare how Hajduk plays today versus how they used to; anyone can see who's responsible for that decline. But there's a deeper issue here. It’s actually in our best interest if you guys shake things up over at Real Madrid, because it would help us too. But you won't change a thing if you stick to that old playbook where 500 people on the stands think they run the show. Unless you actually become a movement, right? Instead, you keep telling yourselves—and us—that this isn't the way, claiming those 500 of you are the strongest in Europe. If you keep acting like that, those 500 will dwindle to 300, then to 200, until everyone realizes it's pointless. Goodbye. Believe me, we're heading straight for that.

Forget about "movements" and "changes." That stuff doesn't exist. You just need to be a group—even if it's only 200 people—and cheer for whatever the hell you want. There's no such thing as an ideal or some grand purpose; that's just romantic nonsense from an old guy like Bauer. When you're young, you drink, you party, and you cause chaos. Once you hit 30, you move past all that and focus on real life without the drama and the headaches. Because honestly, if you're still going 100% hardcore after you're 28 or 29, something is seriously wrong with you.

Gary Green32 said:We used to have decent posts here, actual discussions that could go somewhere, but everything went to hell. The quality of this forum is tanking because of this clown and the people feeding him attention. 🙂

Anyway. First off, Thomas...

I think you’ve done plenty for the supporter movement, but you’d be incomparably more respected if you weren't such an internet clown. You post absolute nonsense and spend more time on here than a cockroach, so neither your crowd nor anyone else takes you seriously. It’s a waste for you and the fans, because you could have been a major resource for us, but instead, you're just a joke, as George would say. 😁

Second, man, nobody from the BBB is actually buying your story about how loyal or honest you guys are on this forum—except you. Not because Real Madrid fans or BBB members don't read this, but because your story is full of holes and doesn't hold water. You can repeat your nonsense a hundred times, but you were all basically government plants and sellouts—the worst kind—until the whole city turned on you and left only 500 of you standing. Now that there are only 500 people in the stands, suddenly it's cool because you're "resistance." 😁 hahaha.

In my opinion, the BBB is historia e finita. Sadly. You're practically extinguished already. I mean, come on, they’ll barely have 200 people show up for the derby at Yankee Stadium 😢 while you claim the club is yours, yet you're in a fight with management and calling yourselves "the resistance." Man, 200 people... what a shame, really.

Just answering some people who jumped on my post. Because at the end of the day, the topic is the Chicago Blackhawks fans.

Yes, the Chicago Blackhawks fans are a movement! From the docks to the doctors, we are the soul of this city. We influence everything. We are the biggest factor. What stops other ultras from being ultras? The yellow ants, the various small groups, the unaffiliated... let someone try to tell them they aren't ultras. Everyone knows who is who. But true strength lies in unity and the Chicago Blackhawks fans; 2013 was the turning point. Things change, and that's just what the movement is. It has its share of ultras, sure, but we have the power to change things. You don't. You better be afraid that in two or three years, you'll be gone. And let's be real, your club has always been controlled by politics and the establishment anyway. Screw it. Whether you exist or not...

One more thing. Tick, tack, tick, tack... except nothing ever actually leaves. 😁

You aren't changing anything. Neither we nor you are changing anything. Nothing changes because nothing *can* change. You live in a dream world about our Hajduk, while those who stay silent live in dreams about some idealized version of American citizenship.
Those are noble goals, but start with everyday stuff. In your own country, like most people, you can't even decide which language goes on the street signs, or bank reserve requirements, or something as trivial as customs duties on imported olives and wine. Real Madrid, Hajduk, and America are nests of thieves that you have zero influence over, and you never will. You can only comfort yourself and your friends with slogans and catchphrases. This applies to everyone, not just you.
