Mounting their horses, Nathan Jones98 and Jim Clark were getting ready to ride off toward the old mine to catch the train from Tamburello heading for Pit Stop. Sepin was sipping coffee on the porch, soaking in the first rays of sunlight. And while Pat was getting worked up over Dorian Cory not taking her along, 4season was reading the Bible, drawing strength from SZ. Just as they were about to head out, Clark spotted sukKi and her deputies approaching the ranch. Once she reached the house, sukKi didn't waste any time.
- Hand over darkmarlin16, and we'll handle the rest. – she started. - darkmarlin16 isn't... – 4season began, but he was cut off by a sharp voice. - Don't interrupt me!!! – sukKi yelled, barely keeping her horse under control. - I am the legally elected Sheriff of the Paddock, and these are my deputies. – she continued. - Yeah, we saw that useless sheriff riding through the prairie, but we'll deal with him later. – coastaldrifter6 added. - Now, what we want is... darkmarlin16. – sukKi finished, slowly resting her hand on the grip of her Colt.
Nathan Jones98, here's your chance to take someone's head, or lose yours! (That means you and Jim Clark are on horseback in front of the porch; behind you on the porch are Sepin, Pat, and 4season, and facing you on horseback are sukKi, coastaldrifter6, Mirko, Rosso, and Josip Presvetli.) You can: a) try diplomacy, b) draw your pistol, or c) something else—but tell me what, because I can't guarantee it'll go your way.
Meanwhile, darkmarlin16 was continuing his wild spree in the Paddock on Main Street. The gambling den's rowdy atmosphere was interrupted by a shot from a Winchester. The young deputy just slumped to the ground. darkmarlin16 spun around quickly, ready to fire, but he had quite a sight to behold. Standing there on a magnificent white horse was her... Ricardo Gasquet. Approaching the stunned darkmarlin16, she rhythmically stroked the gleaming barrel of her Winchester, from which thin wisps of white smoke were still drifting.
- You scoundrel... shall we? – she asked, offering him a hand to help him mount the horse.
Settling in behind the young outlaw, darkmarlin16 wrapped his arms tightly around her waist. As they trotted away from the Paddock at a light canter, watching the remaining townsfolk follow them with their eyes, darkmarlin16 did whisper into her ear.
- Look... sorry about what happened in Interlagos, I was drunk... – he struggled to find the words. - Oh, screw you, you jerk! – Ricardo snapped jokingly, spurring the horse down the street.
Hearing the screams of Madam Nice echoing from the Pig's Wigwam, Edward Howard2 decided he had to act. Pulling a knife from its sheath, he threw it forcefully toward TBF, where it thudded into the dirt just a few feet away from Tyler Bennett5. He then opened fire with his Winchester at the small group of Indians who were still on their feet. Hearing the gunshots, rustycobra32 and the crew spurred their horses even faster, racing toward the camp.
James Lopez11 said:Has anyone here actually reached out to ask for forgiveness? I mean, truly, sincerely? Was it humble, and did the apology actually land when it happened? I’m not sure if this counts as spiritual stuff—this isn't from some self-help book or anything—but I'm in the middle of it right now. I’ve realized how some of my past actions really messed things up for someone else. I can feel the negative energy lingering, but I also feel like if I can find a way to be genuinely sorry deep down, that energy might just heal itself... both in me and in them. What do you guys think about that?
You have to say it out loud. You can do all the mental prep you want, but the plea for forgiveness needs to be spoken. That's the only way the things you're talking about actually settle.
Having shoved Jason Campbell70 out of the cell, Way Out headed toward the train station. Shoving prisoners ahead of him, he kept glancing at the rooftops and windows of the nearby houses. As he got closer to the station, he could clearly see the Sheriff standing by the locomotive, chatting with the express. A bit further off, under the shade of the platform awning, sat The End people. Noticing Way Out, two of them stood up, blocking his path to the train.
- So, I see you found my hundred bucks. – Arcier snarked at Way Out - Ptooey... - He just spat coldly on the ground, Way shoving Jason Campbell70 toward the carriage . Criplebee and Torrentz , The End folks standing between Way Out and the cars, looked over at Arcier waiting for instructions. He just gave a few subtle nods, letting Way pass toward the carriage. The Sheriff watched everything, ready to step in if things went south, though the ache in his shoulder was getting worse. Moving aside, Torrentz and Criplebee cleared Way Out a path to the train. Stepping through them, Pila stopped. Hands tied, he adjusted his hat slightly and turned toward Torrentz . - So... you bastard! How's it gonna be?! – Pila asked, cold and provocative . Torrentz's face contorted, and it was obvious he was reaching for his gun. Getting just enough time, Jason Campbell70 lunged at Criplebee , slamming him to the dirt. Arcier watched the scene unfold, unbuckling the holsters on his belt. Torrentz kept looking at Way Out, then back at Pila who was rolling in the dust with Criplebee, while gripping the handle of his Colt.
- Easy now. Calm down... - Way Out said to him calmly. - Yeah... you said it, he loves taking it slow! – Pila continued to mock from the ground.
Torrentz had just started pulling his Colt from its holster when a shot rang out from Arcier's pistol. With a steady shot, the gun was knocked right out of Torrentz's hands, disarming the young gunman.
- Whoa... did you see that? – the express asked the young Accident . - Yeah, from over thirty yards away... - Accident replied, impressed.
Before long, Torrentz joined the other two on the ground, until shortly after, the Sheriff and Way Out broke them up. Hearing the shot, shadowstag10 and graniteharbor502 ran from the brothel toward the station. Just as curious, Felipe Massa and Sergio Perez did the same.
A few miles outside of town, about halfway to the old mine. Two faces were hurriedly shoving the last sticks of dynamite under the railroad ties. Pastor Maldonado and Holger Badstuber had some plans of their own...
The first rays of sunlight barely touched the prairie as the Sheriff William Bennett53 climbed onto his horse. Taking one last look toward Sepin's ranch, he turned his mount and headed out toward Tamburello. But a cloud of dust approaching from the direction of the Paddock caught his eye. sukKi, coastaldrifter6 and Rosi, with Mirko and josip presvetli right behind them, were galloping hard toward Sepin's ranch. ( Sheriff, you've got options: head toward Tamburello, stay at the ranch to see how things play out, or intercept this incoming group . ) Meanwhile, darkmarlin16 climbed down from the bell tower now that the air had cleared. Only the wounded gambler from the new deputies remained in town. As he approached the porch where the gambler was sitting, darkmarlin16 spun the cylinder of his Colt, making that unmistakable clicking sound. The gambler had just started to pull himself up, leaning heavily on his rifle barrel, when darkmarlin16 moved lightning-fast and struck the butt of the gun. Losing his support, the gambler ended up face-down in the dirt of the main street. - Hey, deputy... you've got a chance at glory, darkmarlin16 taunted the gambler , who was struggling back up, leaning on his good leg this time. But before he could say a word, another darkmarlin16 bullet caught him right in the healthy leg. The gambler went back down into the dust with a pained groan. While darkmarlin16 was having his fun in the Paddock, morning in Tamburello was revealing some new faces. Bjesomar had efficiently cleared the bodies off the street and out of the saloon. After loading up a wagon, he nodded to Rain and headed toward the cemetery. Felipe Massa and Sergio Perez were knocking back some whiskey in Rain's saloon, while he stood smoking a cigarette by the door. Way Out was getting Pilatus ready for the train that was due to depart for Fort Pitstop soon. - Are we waiting for the deputies? Way Out asked Sheriff Panagloss . - They'll be here any minute. The Sheriff replied, peering through the window. - The train won't wait... Way muttered, sounding annoyed. - Yeah, I'm heading to the station to tell the express to hold on a second. The Sheriff replied, starting toward the station. - Damn Pilatus and his transport to Fort Pitstop. Way Out thought aloud, watching the Sheriff walk away. - Lucky for us the referee Charlie Whiting is at the fort, so we won't be wasting our time. Way said, trying to needle Pilatus . Pilatus just gave him the middle finger, shoving his bound hands through the bars. Arriving at the station, the Sheriff asked the Accident and the express crew to wait a moment until they could get Pilatus onto the train. The express wasn't in any hurry anyway, while the Accident performed final checks before departure. The Endov and people led by Arcier were also at the station.
In the meantime, Edward Howard2 arrived at the camp. Finding decent cover, he watched the situation, mapping out a plan. He hadn't accounted for the fact that not all the Apaches were in camp, as rustycobra32 and his warriors were returning after crossing the Rio Spa.
Arriving at Dorian's Sepin ranch William Bennett53 sat with his crew, recounting the chaos from the Paddock to a retired sheriff. Sep listened with skepticism, eyes fixed on the sweeping vistas of Patagonia. While ruggedfox28b>finished a meager dinner, William Bennett53 laid out the specifics of the plan. He figured ruggedfox28 and Jim Clark would wait by the old mine tomorrow morning for the train coming out of Tamburello. Once they hit Fort Pitstop, they’d need to find an experienced gunslinger like Fernando Alonso to help them rally an army back to the Paddock.
- If everything goes sideways, it'll take them two days to get back with the cavalry. – Sep mused. - I know. That's why I'm heading toward Tamburello at dawn. Hopefully, the sheriff has some reliable men stationed there. – William Bennett53 said. - Besides, we'll probably find out how the manhunt for gfggfgov's gang and Pat is going once we arrive. – he continued. - Pat... where Pat is, darkmarlin16 is too... – Sep commented. - Yeah, but fate tore them apart this time... – ruggedfox28 interjected, gnawing on a bone. - Yeah, who knows where that bastard ended up... – steelmaker83 thought aloud, remembering the blow to his head. - Someone will take him out eventually! – William Bennett53 chimed in again. - You mean... eliminate. – Pat corrected him. - Right, that's what I said. – the sheriff replied, moving the conversation along.
While the tension in the Paddock was brewing with the new deputies preparing to head toward Sep's ranch, darkmarlin16 was lying low, watching the scene unfold from a small church bell tower, waiting patiently for his moment. The first hints of dawn were breaking over the prairie when an arrow hissed through the air. Catching Aleale square in the chest, rustycobra32 dropped his bow, pulled a tomahawk, and charged forward, shouting for the Apache to attack. Aleale fell onto his back, managing only one shaky shot before the tomahawk blade caught him across the face. Gfggfg and carnivor jolted awake and tried to react, but it was over fast. A bloody dawn broke over the plains.
Meanwhile, at the Apache camp, the fire flickered while drunken warriors sprawled across the floor. ruggedfox28 was tied to a post, watching Dmw swagger into the village with a helpless Nica slumped in his saddle. A little further off, stormybadger8 and mobberzgb>were bound tight and exhausted, struggling fruitlessly to break free.
- Haugh! – Dmw greeted his chief warmly. - Haugh! – Megan Jones3 barked back, glancing at Nica, who had finally gone quiet. - There, my honor and courage are restored. – Dmw muttered, tossing Nica into the dirt. - Well spoken! – Megan Jones3 replied with satisfaction. - That fat one is yours. – he said, pointing at ruggedfox28 while Dmw handed him a bottle of whiskey. - And you're mine! – he yelled, grabbing Nica by the hair.
The girl's screams echoed across the prairie, waking even the most intoxicated warriors, as Megan Jones3 dragged her decisively toward his tent. MAXYM , who had started after Dmw , paused for a second to listen, then glanced at his horse and galloped wildly toward the camp.
The Apaches have passed. Spa-Francorchamps. They reached the camp. The chief just tosses the prisoners into the dust, tied up and helpless. Megan Jones3 He ordered everyone to take a break and grab some food. A massive bonfire was lighting up the faces of the hyped-up tribesmen celebrating their successful raid. Sitting down by the fire— Megan Jones3 He whispered something. Leslie EldridgeLook, this whole mess just unfolded right in front of the prisoners. After catching... ruggedfox28 He dragged him by the collar toward the totem and lashed him to a post. The guy was wounded. mobberzg i To be honest— They just stood there, helpless—trying to pick at the ropes around their wrists. While the drums started thumping, a few warriors began circling the totem, chanting to honor the power. Manitou...swinging those Tomahawks around.
In the meantime— rustycobra32 He was crawling toward the campfire with a few of the Apaches. I don't even know what I'm looking at here—just total gibberish. Is this some kind of joke? If you're trying to make a point, you missed. Try again when you actually have something to say. Bunch of thugs. Aleale He was standing guard—slowly losing the fight against sleep. Only a sharp noise from the valley would snap him back to attention, before his head just grew heavy again, searching for something to lean on.
Even as the Apaches were closing in, in... Tamburello I can't work with just "je." Give me something real to rewrite. Dmw He tore down the main street at a full gallop, dragging his prize along behind him. When he hit the front of the saloon, he just rode straight through the middle. Rtzuiop i graniteharbor502 Heading out into the night. pila He decided to make his move—racing across the rooftop, trying to leap to the next section. But the second he stepped on one of the planks, the whole thing snapped, and... pilaHe went crashing through the canopy and landed hard on the porch. Dazed—he reached for his Colt, but took a well-aimed blow from a rifle butt instead. RtuzuiopHe sent him straight to dreamland. He'll be joining them soon— WayOut.
We’ll toss him in a cell, then catch the morning train to... Fort Pitstop"–" the sheriff said. So, what are we actually going to do about this? Nico Rosberg"?" — he asked. graniteharbor502 "It's gonna be hard to get anything done tonight..." the sheriff muttered. "By tomorrow morning, we might already be too late," he concluded. MAXYM dismounting the horse "It's crazy to go out there—especially alone," he shot back. Rtzuiop Yeah, probably should be. Fort Pitstop "Request military assistance," the sheriff added. "Cowards!" — he snapped back. MAKYM Spitting on the ground before galloping his horse down the street. What a joke... — he commented. WayOut "I'm gonna head to the doctor and have them take a look at this..." the sheriff said, staring down at the wound. "I'm just gonna toss this guy in a cell," someone chimed in. WayOut "You two..." — the sheriff said, looking at his deputies. "Nice work. Get some rest tonight..." he said—glancing over at the brothel where a small group of curious girls had gathered on the porch.
Looking at myself, Rtzuiop i graniteharbor502 They weren't exactly hiding their excitement over what the Sheriff had to say. At that moment— Arciero A few more. Sergio Perez They just rolled into town.

Just as he was about to sneak a glance back through the glass, a new silhouette appeared in the window frame. He fired toward the window again, but the bullet whizzed just a few inches past. Tyler Cruz32 He smashed her head, sending feathers flying from her plume everywhere. While those pink strands drifted through the air— Tyler Cruz32 Like a true lady—hand pressed to her forehead—she just collapsed right onto the floor.

A u TamburelA single silhouette was wandering down the alleyway behind the saloon. Drew Bennett68 He edged away slowly, leaning against the walls and clutching his stomach. By the time he reached the casino entrance, he just collapsed right at the table where the boss was sitting. The End He wasted his time playing poker. After sobering up a bit from a drink, he gave a quick rundown of how things went down at the saloon.
So that's how it is... — he said, sounding pretty deep in thought. The End "Just give me a few guys and I'll take that bastard down," he offered. Arciero "Nah... we aren't going to charge..." he replied—already busy mapping out a new plan in his head. "I've got a guy for this..." — he added, without missing a beat. "Let's do this!" he said, grabbing a pen and some paper. - Arciero Grab two guys and get this telegram sent from the train station—he told the young gunslinger while handing him a folded slip of paper. In the meantime— Piti He was wandering through the upper floors of a brothel, looking for an exit and trying to make sense of his own mess. He burst into one of the rooms and stumbled right upon someone absolutely stunning. Tyler Cruz32 She was watching everything unfold from the window. He walked up to the confused beauty and slipped a few dollars into her pink corset—where two aggressive triplets were practically spilling out. "Just a little something," he said, stepping one foot out the door. He paused for a second, then turned his head back inside to pull the bewildered girl toward him. Tyler Cruz32It ended with a kiss—bold enough to be daring, yet smooth enough to leave a taste behind—as they finally stepped outside. Tyler Cruz32 I stood by the window for a while longer—just trying to reel in the sheer force of everything hitting me at once.
A few miles south, the duo was crossing the US border—hauling a massive haul from a looted bank in saddlebags. Sergio Perez i Felipe They were driving toward... Tamburel
After some superhuman effort, the folks in Paddock managed to get the fire under control. Not much left of Paskaneman's saloon F1, but everyone was relieved to have won the fight against the flames. As the celebration spread down the muddy street, Sheriff Dorian and his crew arrived at the stables. Saddling up, the group headed toward the nearby ranch owned by retired Sheriff Sep. After galloping off, they quickly vanished into the night.
- We'll be safe at Sep's ranch, then I'm heading out for Tamburel at first light. - Dorian told his companions. - I'm coming with you. - Patagonia chimed in, but the Sheriff just met her with silence. - One of you three needs to head to the old mine and catch the train leaving Tamburel tomorrow morning. - the Sheriff laid out his plan. - I can do it! - Nathan Jones98 volunteered. - Only if I'm there to watch your back. - Clark interjected. - And where are you sending them, Sheriff? - 4season asked. - To Fort Pitstop! - the Sheriff snapped back. - We'll talk details once we hit the ranch! - he added, patting his horse.
While SuKki and the others were putting out the last embers, they started speculating about what happened to the Sheriff and the guys from the saloon.
- If they burned up, I want their bones! - SuKki barked at the crowd. - What if they slipped out the back? - coastaldrifter6 suggested reasonably. - Then you'll find them, even if you have to turn over every single stone in the desert. - SuKki yelled, barely keeping her temper in check. - That won't be necessary. - josip presvetli said, approaching the group. - They just walked out of town... headed for Sep's ranch. - he added. - Was maminho with them? - SuKki asked. - I don't know, there were five or six of them, and it was dark... - josip presvetli replied, shrugging helplessly. - We'll find out at dawn! - SuKki hissed through her teeth. - But how can one woman decide all this... it's like Eva deciding an apple is... - presvetli started, but SuKki cut him off, grabbing him by the collar and pulling him close. - Because I've just been appointed the new Sheriff, and these people here are my new deputies... - she spat, explaining.presvetli - And if I want to officially take the title, I have to bury the old one... - she continued. - So presvetli you're coming with us tomorrow... clear? - she finished. - Y... y... yes, clear! - presvetli stammered, nodding. - Rosi, coastaldrifter6, Mirko_M... you're the new deputies... - she shouted, firing a shot into the air.
The rest joined in with a loud volley of gunfire, thrilled by the turn of events, filling the main street of Paddock with fresh smoke.
Meanwhile, back in Tamburel , the drama continues at Madam rustydrifter10's brothel. Kimi #1 rushed inside without a second thought, ignoring the Sheriff and graniteharbor502's orders to stay back. shadowstag10 headed for the back entrance, while Rain MAXYM and rustydrifter10 watched the scene unfold from the saloon's porch. Sensing the right moment to make a move, Edward Howard2 slowly slid his hand onto Nicin's bare shoulder.
- You're safe with me... Madam. - he said in a calm, steady voice. - Bahhh... - Rain muttered, heading back into the saloon.
Looking at the chaos and the motionless bodies, Rain paused for a second, muttering something into his beard...
- 1... 3, 4... 7... 7... weren't there 8 of these troublemakers? - Rain asked Edward Howard2 while scanning the room.

I wonder if I will end up teaming up with the sheriff. 😬
I suppose I've developed a bit of an interest in him. 😍 🤣
I suspect the gentlemen would find a warm bath quite agreeable; after all, the responsibilities of a Vice President can be incredibly taxing. rustydrifter10 Unfortunately, these guys might be able to get the better of you. Just observing."... he concluded, turning back toward the saloon," the sheriff said.
Whaaaaaat? I suppose it’s possible they became impotent following some skirmish in the past. 😁 Does the sheriff simply refuse to allow any real action within his own ranks? Ccccc Quote 🙂
You see... it’s just fate. 😁
I would like to express my gratitude to the author for their contribution to this story. 🙂 I must admit I was somewhat taken aback; having never once opened a formula in my life, it felt rather peculiar that anyone would even be aware of my existence.
So here I am, reading up on "higher realms"—philosophy, spirituality, religion...

Tempi, do you think I could be a top-tier gunslinger too? Maybe I'll just stick to "horsewoman"—or even better, just call it riding a stallion? 😳
I've got big plans for you... you're going to be surprised.
And even when things were going down in... Tamburel Things were slowing down—they'd finally spread out—but there was some serious drama going down just before we hit the city limits. It was an exhausting chase; our horses were completely spent, so there was zero chance of catching the Apaches. A confrontation was pretty much inevitable. After pulling my horse to a halt, Tyler Bennett5 I didn't even aim at the incoming silhouettes.
You’re riding solo on this one. FilipomR5 "Into the city! We're holding them off!" he shouted. To be fair— Paskaneman
Dismounted from the horse, To be honest— He dove into cover behind a dead log—just spraying anything that moved. Tyler Bennett5 He feverishly pumped his Winchester. An Apache stepped out from the shadows right in front of him, and he dropped the guy with a cold, precise shot. Then another one emerged from that same direction—but this time, the Winchester stayed silent. Out of ammo, Tyler Bennett5 tried to draw his pistol, but the oncoming... dmw He threw himself at him, slamming him hard against the ground. Then it was just a desperate, brutal struggle for survival. To be honest— I took down a few Apaches, but the new ones just kept coming. Then, out of nowhere, a chief lunges from the shadows. Megan Jones3Man, you and your horse can just go trip over yourselves. To be fair— Honestly, he didn't even get a shot off. After getting knocked sideways by that Saline charge, the last thing he saw was someone wildly swinging a tomahawk. Megan Jones3 Who was actually chasing him? Paskaneman i FilipomR5Then a massive blow to the head sent him straight to dreamland.
In the meantime— Paskaneman i FilipR5 They were right on the doorstep of the city limits—but no. Megan Jones3 And the kids, too. rustycobra32 They were right on our heels. After throwing my tomahawk with everything I had— Megan Jones3 It hit. FilipaR5 Straight to the back—then this whole thing just collapses. Paskaneman He tried firing off his double-barreled shotgun while galloping—but he was too slow. rustycobra32 He went for it—boldly enough to knock him right off his horse.
While those two were busy wrestling each other— Megan Jones3 Back where I started. FilipaR5 He was writhing on the ground. Pulling his knife, he grabbed the poor guy by the hair and scalped him with one violent jerk. A scream of pure agony echoed through the canyon, while the gathered Apaches let out loud shouts, hailing their chief's bravery.
A little further. Paskaneman He was losing the ground war against someone just too damn tough. rustycobra32He ended it with a heavy blow—head-to-head—knocking him unconscious. When the young warrior pulled his knife, he wasn't exactly surprised to find that... Paskaneman No scalp—guy was bald.
Tyler Bennett5 i dmw They were fighting against superhuman forces—all while the gathered Apache tribes cheered their warrior on at the top of their lungs. Alright everyone, you wanted action, so here it is. In the next installment, we’re heading back to John Doe and John Doe—plus some new faces arriving at sunrise.
Big thanks to shadowstag10 for the help with the image editing.
Stepping out onto the saloon porch, John Doe met John Doe's stare. With a sudden, cat-like agility, he lunged into the street, rolled, popped back up, and sprinted full tilt toward John Doe's brothel. John Doe burst through the doors with the sheriff and shadowstag10 hot on his heels. The End Co.'s crowd exchanged confused glances for a split second before erupting into delirious laughter. Saw was already at the brothel entrance when John Doe fired—but the bullet just bit into the wooden wall. John Doe screamed, sprinting back toward the saloon. Once inside the brothel, John Doe drew his Colt and headed for the stairs. Hearing the shot, Kimi#1 pulled his pistols and ran toward the building. John Doe approached the exit, watching the chaos unfold. With an ironic smirk, he turned to the crowd, gesturing for them to move toward Microsoft. However, Edward Howard2 was already standing on the steps, Colts in hand.
- It’s hardly polite to make such a racket. You're insulting me as a guest of your town... - he began. - So, I’ll ask you nicely to vacate the saloon—with a decent compensation, of course. - he finished, pausing on the third step. - Ha... ha-ha-ha!!! - John Doe was the first to laugh, and then the rest joined in. - You, since you started laughing first... you're my first target. - Edward Howard2 said coldly, leveling his pistol at John Doe. - Then those two standing, and then the ones sitting, because they'll take a little longer to go down... - he continued, pointing his gun at every single target he mentioned. - Finally, I'll leave the guy in the corner by the piano, Unknown. He might have enough time to fire back... but by then, he'll probably have wet himself from fear, so even if he does shoot, he'll surely miss... - Edward Howard2 concluded his speech while staring at the stunned faces of The End Co.'s people . - Still... if any of you is smart enough to head for the door, I promise I won't shoot you in the back. And... bartender, I suggest you duck. - he added, simultaneously cocking his revolvers. - Tell your mother to duck! - Rain snapped.
For a moment or two, everyone just stared. Then, a gunshot from outside triggered a chain reaction. Bang, bang, bang... bang, bang, bang, bang... bang... pew, bang!

The moonlight was washing over the prairie, where the Apache riders were charging frantically under the lead of Megan Jones3. You could barely make out the war paint on the faces of Leslie Eldridge and Partfish, but their eyes said everything. Raising a hand, Megan Jones3 halted the Apache group, while a young Cherokee scout slid off his horse and pressed his ear to the dirt.
"Three or four of them..." he whispered to Megan Jones3, his face still pressed against the ground. "Over there... toward Tamburel..." he added.
Looking toward Tamburel, the chief Megan Jones3 straightened up, then shifted his gaze toward Padock, where the sky was bleeding red. Further off, near Eau Rouge, the small glow of a camp fire caught his eye.
(Here's your play, Chief Megan Jones3. You can head toward Tamburel via TBF, Paskaneman, the mobbers, and FilipomR5. Option two is Padock, which is currently going up in flames, or a third option: gfggfg's gang getting caught in the blaze exiting Eau Rouge.)
Meanwhile, the fire at Padock was starting to spiral out of control.
(Dorian g, Nathan Jones98, Clark, Pat, and 4season, the choice is yours. Everyone decides for themselves—though William Bennett53 and Pat need to stick together. All paths are open, so I won't limit your options.)
As things started heating up on the prairie, bounty hunter Kimi#1 buckled his belt, adjusted his hat, and stepped out into the street. He pulled on a pair of thin leather gloves as he headed toward the saloon, his spurs jingling in a steady rhythm against his boots...
