I honestly have no clue about the HP DeskJet, and I wasn't claiming anything about it other than seeing that the third-party ink was around $7.25
I can only speak for my own printer, but there isn't much difference between them since they use the same ink. I have no idea what you're talking about regarding it not being able to use more than 5.5 ml. Explain yourself.

I don't know, and honestly, I don't care. The HP DeskJet has 13.5ml, and $4.00 it
is what it is. For anyone who isn't printing a novel every day, that printer is plenty. It won't be a waste of money.

Also, that Epson SX130 mentioned earlier uses pretty affordable third-party ink. For context, I have an SX115—it's an older model, but the standard color set works perfectly for it.$16(meaning black plus those three colors)
