Skin issue—not sure what it is. Help! in Health ·
Elizabeth Jackson64 said:just one thing... you said it's on the fingers of your left hand... maybe you're a lefty? 🙂 mine only happens on my right hand and I'm right-handed.

I dealt with this exact same crap before (pretty sure). Same dry skin by the pinky finger on my right hand, itching like crazy and breaking out in these little fluid-filled blisters.
Check if you're touching stuff every day that hits that specific spot.

Things cleared up fast for me once I realized it was because of my toothbrush.
Basically, some kind of fungus—like mold or something—was growing at the bottom of the brush handle because it was sitting in a puddle of water at the bottom of my cup after I brushed.
While I was brushing, holding the brush, I noticed the part covered in that "mold" was rubbing right against my palm near my pinky... and my skin was already all raw and red from it.
So I stopped gripping it with my whole palm and just held it with two fingers for a while 🙂 and it went away completely (didn't even need any prescription creams).

Maybe you're dealing with the same thing I did...

Hope this helps 👍
Dealing with metatarsalgia? in Health ·
I'm trying to figure out if Morton's neuroma and metatarsalgia are actually the same thing or two totally different issues.

Basically, Morton's neuroma is when the nerve running to your toes gets thickened—it happens right between those metatarsal bones, usually between the 3rd and 4th toe... I think I mentioned that already...

If they aren't the same, how can you tell them apart by the symptoms?

Basically, you end up dealing with this pain because all your weight shifts onto the arch of your foot, usually combined with other crap like wearing shoes that are too tight or having an elevated heel...
The symptoms vary, though. You get pain in the ball of your foot or the toes, and that annoying tingling sensation between the third and fourth toes—that's the most common one...

So, how do people actually fix this?
