Hey everyone, I was wondering if someone could help me make sense of these lab results.
I’ve been getting some extra testing done because my platelet count keeps hovering right near the upper limit.
It’s just been bugging me—my total platelet count is pushing that top end, while everything else seems to be sitting at the bottom of the range, or even slightly low.
Thanks in advance!
Thanks, Nicholas Myers! 🙂

Hey
,
Could I get some thoughts on these results? I'm specifically looking at my platelet count—I went in for a checkup because ever since my heart issues and that vaccine, my platelets have been hovering right at the upper limit.

My D-dimer came back at 188, while the normal range is <500.
Maria Fisher46 said:Hi there,

Looking at the results you shared, I actually agree with your doctor—everything looks pretty solid. The only thing is that Vitamin D level could definitely be higher, so I think prescribing some supplements is a smart move.

Thanks,

Best of luck.

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some help interpreting my lab results. I’m a bit worried about my platelet counts—they’ve been running high for about two years now, though they haven't actually crossed the upper limit yet. This started following my vaccine and after I recovered from COVID-19.
My doctor says the numbers look great, though.
On June 16th, I had a Letz procedure on my cervix, and my bleeding patterns have stayed normal since then.
As for underlying issues, I deal with GERD and managed asthma.
I recently had blood work done because of some pain in my lower right abdomen. It actually went away for a bit, but now it’s starting to flare up again.
An abdominal ultrasound came back totally clear, aside from a lot of gas and some fullness in my intestines.
The doctor thinks the pain might be linked to the Letz procedure or just general bloating.
I also feel exhausted quite often, so my doctor put me on Vitamin D.

Best,
Douglas Grant26, which PPI were you on?
Morning,
Zachary Gomez, I’ve been fighting these exact same symptoms for years now—one day I feel okay, then everything crashes back down, and it just keeps going in circles.
So, for about seven years straight, it’s been this constant cough, that nagging need to clear my throat, hoarseness, tightness in my neck, and that weird "lump in the throat" sensation.
At work, everyone basically knows me as the person who can't stop coughing.
Back when they sent me in for a gastroscopy (that was actually 11 years ago, though the cough started later), I had a stomach ulcer, terrible acid reflux, chronic gastritis, a hiatal hernia, and an HP infection.
After finishing triple therapy, I felt like a brand-new person, but of course, it didn't last long before it all came crawling back.
Recently, I tested positive for HP again, finished the treatment, and felt great for a bit—but here we are, twenty days later, and the cough is back along with this sticky, clear mucus...
I am just so exhausted by all of this. Honestly, if I could just get rid of this cough, I’d be happy.
