Do you realize how many packages pass through their hands every single day—I mean, really... you don't honestly think they're opening every single one, do you?

There's the customs law—it's pretty clear that every single package has to be inspected. I mean, if you have a small package of heroin, it’s still just a small package of heroin... we can't exactly just assume it isn't what it looks like without actually checking, right... 🙂

As for how fast customs moves—I won't even get started on how long my packages sit there, or their daily processing numbers and all that... It’s a sore subject, really. I've just learned to be patient over time—very patient. Let's just say they're probably still working through orders from the optimists who were hoping for an international Christmas gift...

Christian Torres3 said:Not quite right... $100 It’s only exempt if you’re carrying it across the border personally—it doesn't apply to mail service... I know this firsthand, too, because my own package from FedEx got flagged by customs... $75 It all depends on the total value—shipping included... Honestly, it really just comes down to how the customs agent at the post office decides to handle it... whether they flag it or let it slide...

Nothing under that amount should really be subject to customs duties—it just seems unnecessary... $100You could file an appeal against that decision... if you wanted to...
Karen Young17 said:look, when they pull everything out of the bags, they're manually checking each package one by one—based just on what they can see from the outside, since they can't actually see inside—so they have to guess if it needs to go to Customs or not... and then they send it along if necessary... so it really comes down to those first people handling the packages, especially if your shipment ends up getting flagged for customs...

That isn't quite right—all packages get opened to verify the contents based on the invoice included inside. If the items are low-value (under $100), they go straight to your door, but anything more expensive gets taxed according to federal law. If they can't find an invoice, they just reach out to the buyer—the person who ordered it...
northernhound2 said:How's it going... $145 Total cost—including shipping... $33...just stuff, really... $112I wonder if they’ll try to hit me with customs fees or taxes on the shipping...
So, based on the numbers you gave me—about 30% of the price plus...$10+$17I guess I'll just take it... $62I'm honestly just curious to see what they tell me at the counter tomorrow...
If what you wrote is actually true—then it really just highlights how bleak things have become within our federal agencies...

I wrote it out in detail before, but—let me try this again—slowly and thoroughly...

Sales tax applies to everything—both the goods and the shipping costs. So, you're basically looking at the total amount multiplied by 22%...

Customs duties depend entirely on the specific tariff classification of your items—though you might be exempt if they fall under a duty-free category... I'm not exactly sure which class sneakers fall into, but I'd guess around 10%—so that would be 335 x 10%...

Then you’ve got fixed costs to deal with—plus shipping straight to your door via FedEx...

When you add it all up—I honestly think it just comes out to zero... $70It’s perfectly normal and acceptable—at least according to the older generation—to round 210 up to... $90Honestly, the real issue is that the invoices are all handwritten in different styles—it makes deciphering exactly what’s written on the customs declaration a total headache... if you ask me, the whole thing should be... It should have been... It should be typed out on a computer—you know, the kind they often hold back from you, even though they really shouldn't...

And just like you realized—the goods arrive... $100 With the old rules—it's clear—customs duties and sales tax are waived...
northernhound2 said:"Customs and sales tax aren't charged even when you receive a gift from abroad as an individual, up to a value of $100."
Damn. Anyway, this part is $90 to me—which is basically 80% of $112. Isn't that a bit much for customs alone?

Yeah, it's a lot... it should probably be around 5 or 10% (depending on what category those sneakers fall under) for customs, then 22% sales tax on everything—both the goods and the shipping—plus fixed processing fees, and then the delivery fee from customs to your door via FedEx. And sometimes the mail carrier misreads the amount... or doesn't provide a receipt, which they're supposed to do. They've gotta grab a coffee too, I guess. 😢

Based on what you wrote below, my math puts it at roughly $70, which is $145 worth of goods... that's about 30% in taxes and duties—you could run the numbers through a calculator, but just eyeballing it, I get $43... plus $10 in fees, plus $17 for shipping... so we're looking at around $70. Who knows if someone won't just round 210 up to 270 and put $20 in the deposit?

You've seen my post regarding MMS and alternative medicine—take a look and do some digging if you're interested. It’s fine if alternative approaches aren't really your thing... I just wouldn't have brought it up if I hadn't noticed your mention of acupuncture...
Melissa Sullivan27 said:So, I'm curious about a few things—do you wash your hands after using the restroom, whether it's just a quick trip or more? And do you only bother washing up when you're at a friend's house, at work, or in a public stall, or do you do it at home too?

I wash my hands after using the bathroom, whenever I walk through my front door, before eating, and just generally... I wash them.

It's mostly just an attempt to cut down on the amount of bacteria entering my system orally—even though I know my body is constantly exposed to pathogens from every direction. You could always look into how I handle things like that in the other thread regarding MMS in alternative medicine.

Look, I know handwashing isn't a perfect fix, but it helps a little bit...

And honestly, some organisms are coprophagic by nature, so they don't have this issue. It's amazing what evolution can pull off, isn't it? 🙂 I think there might be a tiny hint of coprophagy in your question, too... 🙂

I guess everyone is just waiting for some brilliant advice straight from your brain.
Since you've clearly mastered curing this chronic illness, why aren't you out there advising all those poor souls on their forums?

There’s even a thread about cancer. I bet they'd all be cured instantly if they tried your magic water—especially the ones in terminal stages with metastases everywhere. So go ahead, help them... what are you waiting for? People are dying... hello... where is this magic water???

Look, if you've been paying any attention to my posts, I've shared what I know here (before I was banned) and in alternative medicine circles too—just trying to tell people what needs to be done.

At the end of the day, I can't force anyone to get healthy. My goal—my mission, if you want to call it that—is simply to let people know a cure exists. Whether they use it or not is entirely up to them... I just provide the info regarding MMS. If someone doesn't want to, that's fine. It doesn't bother me.

And like I said, this isn't just for Crohn's; it affects almost any ailment.

The "magic water" is sodium chlorite, which generates chlorine dioxide. For those interested, the details are in the post about using MMS in alternative medicine. And of course, if anyone wants more specifics, feel free to ask me—either over in the alternative medicine section or via private message. I'll help as much as I can... though I don't claim to know everything.

Like I've already said, and I'll say again, the cure exists. Now that you know, it's up to you whether you want to see how it works or not. My only purpose was to let you know. Use your own judgment—read the materials I mention, do your own research, and then decide. You're capable of thinking for yourselves. Make an informed choice now that you know the option is there.

Thanks for listening, and stay healthy.

daka said:No offense, but the moderator should probably remove you from this forum—it's their job, really. It feels like you're missing the point here... This is a place for sharing experiences, not for medical advice. Real doctors and institutions handle the actual treatment. Most people in the US and everywhere else know that HIV isn't just some minor cough you can brush off, so regardless of how silly the question was, there's no need for an even more ridiculous response.

stormyheron4 said:I've read about that "cure" for HIV... that doctor claims he saved almost everyone except those who were already too far gone to be helped even after the virus was cleared. I don't really know what to say to that—maybe those who choose to believe it just end up getting what they deserve...

Regarding the cure for AIDS (as with any pathogen-based illness)—I actually started a separate thread regarding alternative treatments, so I won't get into the specifics here, since we aren't allowed to discuss alternative methods directly...

And as for the idea that highly paid professionals—yes, because it's an incredibly profitable industry—get to decide what can and cannot be cured... well, I've decided to make my own choices. I used my own judgment, successfully managed my Crohn's, and realized that much of what is said about diseases and treatments is just a lie designed to keep the pharmaceutical industry at the top of the profit ladder...

If you don't want to believe it, you don't have to. If you don't want to try what alternatives offer, that's fine too. I'm not forcing anyone to use alternative—or any other—treatments. I'm simply mentioning that a cure exists—which, by the way, actually works—and the choice is yours...

I know it’s very popular to silence people nowadays. But let's look at the reality—even if this method caused as many deaths as conventional medicine does (and honestly, nobody has been cured of AIDS by conventional medicine, whereas many have through MMS), I'm still not forcing anyone's hand. Everyone chooses for themselves. I just think people deserve to know about the method... I don't think they *have* to use it...

And just as an aside—all those individuals involved in the testing in Africa who received MMS treatment were originally discharged from the hospital as hopeless cases—basically, they were sent away to die somewhere else instead of in a hospital bed. 60% of them were back to working within three days, and 40% were back on their feet within a month (not after a full month, but sometime between day three and day thirty)... two people passed away. All 390 participants had been released from the hospital because they were considered terminal. In the eyes of conventional medicine, they were already dead. 388 survived. Two did not. They were all in the terminal stages of AIDS. If you don't believe me, that's perfectly fine...

🙏

And what’s actually great is that I'm not alone in this—there are countless people all over the States using these treatments for their own conditions... not everyone has AIDS, after all, and these methods target any illness caused by pathogens.

The only issue is that many people, like yourself, assume that if someone says there's no cure for AIDS—meaning just some overpriced corporate garbage that doesn't actually work—then they must be right.

AIDS, much like many other diseases triggered by pathogens, can be treated quite easily. It doesn't even matter if you use MMS (which is how I managed my Crohn's)... because there are plenty of ways to wipe out pathogens. Once you realize it's just about destroying the pathogen, you see that HIV is just another one... and getting rid of it becomes straightforward and affordable.

Now, if you're a professional, I get why you'd say AIDS is hard to treat. I mean, nobody wants to see their bread and butter—those billions in profits—taken away, right?

If people don't believe me, they can try it for themselves. They might even get better... If they choose not to try, well, that's on them, not us...

Harold Adams7 said:I wasn't actually thinking about osteoporosis. It's just that I eat way too much sugar—so I got a bit worried about my bone density. Regarding what you said about calcium and magnesium... were you talking about those effervescent tablets or something else? Can't bones just regenerate on their own without all those supplements?

Well, bones are made of calcium. If you aren't getting enough calcium and magnesium—which is necessary to actually get that calcium into your bones and teeth—it’s a bit like asking if you can build a house without bricks, wood, or whatever else... you need the raw materials. Even if you stopped eating entirely, you'd die. By skipping calcium and magnesium, you're essentially starving your bones. Of course, you still need other nutrients too.

If you want to go the fizzy tablet route, go for it. Personally, I don't think they're the best option... Magnesium chloride is usually the way to go.

Harold Adams7 said:I was watching this Man vs. Wild documentary where they mentioned that our bones essentially regenerate every seven years. It got me wondering—if our bone health hasn't been compromised by a bad diet—like too much sugar—does that mean if we just stop eating all that junk, our bones would eventually return to a "normal" state after enough time passes?

Basically, even before that... if you're talking about osteoporosis, you really have to balance your calcium intake with magnesium. Taking calcium alone can actually do more harm than good...

placidjackal36 said:HIV isn't a disease. It's a virus. AIDS is the actual disease.
So what exactly are you "treating"? Why don't you just head down to Africa? Come on, explain yourself a bit better...

Yeah, I'm well aware that Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a virus—it’s right there in the name. And sure, I know AIDS is an English acronym while SIDA is used in French, but since you seem confused about the basics—people treat the HIV itself by lowering the viral load, preventing those symptoms from appearing... which, once they do show up, is when we say a patient has progressed to AIDS.

Basically, modern allopathic medicine starts treating patients the moment HIV is detected, rather than waiting for the actual disease symptoms to kick in.

As for what I use for treatment—I haven't actually treated myself for this. I've dealt with Crohn's, and I don't personally know anyone living with HIV or its symptoms... but that doesn't mean I don't recognize when something works.

Besides, you can easily look up the results they saw over in Africa...

Either clarify this in the PMU, or take it over to the alternative medicine group...

stormyheron4 said:Oh, come on... where on earth is there a cure for HIV??? I read about what you're claiming is a cure—it sounds like pure fiction. You're saying this guy cured almost everyone with AIDS, even those in terminal stages???

Well, you can find it almost anywhere. Of course, because of how this forum works—not to repeat myself too often, the moderator allowed discussions on alternative treatments here (whether they work or not)—I won't say it publicly here, but it's available in the alternative group, or perhaps through PMU.

And yes, it works... I had Crohn's, and now I'm doing okay. But it isn't just a cure for Crohn's—it's for any illness caused by pathogens. By the way, it's used industrially (among other things) to kill pathogens, and it's officially recognized as one of the most powerful tools for that. If you actually clicked the link and read it, you could see the results from Africa... the first part is free to download. That guy was only treating terminal patients—people who had been discharged from the hospital to die. Only then would he approach them and ask if they were interested. It's all there, if you care to read...

And why is it so hard to believe there might be a cure for AIDS, cancer, and similar "incurable" diseases? Don't you know how much that cocktail of HIV drugs costs? Or how much a single cancer patient is worth to Big Pharma? So, is it really surprising that so many illnesses remain incurable, even when they could be easily treated...

Naturally, I know you'll ask why it isn't being used to cure them. Well, if it were, where would the pharmaceutical industry get its billions upon billions of dollars? And yeah, Big Pharma is an industry in a capitalist society, and as you probably know—if you know anything at all about economics—the goal is profit, and they are legally obligated to maximize it...

rustyhound83 said:This thread is about hyperbaric chambers, and from what I gather, you aren't recommending them because they're pricey—since there are plenty of cheaper, equally good treatments out there. But you forgot about divers, for whom this is life-saving, or children with cerebral palsy, where it offers huge health improvements... since there isn't an alternative quite as effective, please allow us to say that for some, it truly is a lifesaver. Best regards, and I won't argue further👋

I don't want to end up arguing just for the sake of it—or so my last word might be, given my complexes 🙂—but I did say the chamber works, and if anyone can access it, by all means, go for it. It’s far from me saying I don't recommend it.

To reiterate, if you have access to a chamber, go ahead; it will help you. We all carry pathogens within us, and killing off those little pests (pathogens, that is—just so no one gets the wrong idea) is strictly a good thing, nothing bad at all.

However, there are people who simply can't—they don't have the funds to pay out of pocket, and Medicare certainly wasn't jumping for joy when their claims were filed, and so on—yet they deal with issues caused by pathogens. In those cases, other methods exist. Methods available to the public.

And then, of course, there are the issues divers face (which aren't necessarily caused by pathogens) that can only be resolved via a chamber. If someone surfaces too quickly (for whatever reason, though every diver knows why slow decompression matters), the chamber is the only way... and there's no debate there. That's not really about illness, it's more about accidents—I can't see any reason a diver would surface without full decompression unless it was an accident, or just pure recklessness, which is a different matter entirely. Illness is one thing, accidents are another.

Regardless, if you can get into a chamber, do it; you'll feel better. And if you can't, don't despair... there are affordable options that are both effective and safe, which you can use at home without professional assistance (though you still need to know how—it's easy enough to learn, but you also have to know how to drink water).

So, I support the chamber (I'm saying this again, since I'm constantly being accused of not supporting it)!

rustyhound83 said:Personally—though that’s just my own take—I’ve never been one for alternative routes... I’m not saying they aren't valid, but 🤷

Just a quick thought on conventional medicine. It really shines when you need surgery—there's no question about that. If you need an operation, you go the standard route. But then again, it's a different story when everything seems to require surgery...

Regarding alternative versus conventional approaches, I have to admit that a while back—before my official Crohn diagnosis eleven years ago—medicine wasn't really on my radar. I didn't bother studying it any more than I would study classical Russian ballet (which I still don't do)...

But once things got bad—once I reached the point where I needed painkillers all day, every single day, living a life that wasn't really living, just constant suffering, and traditional medicine couldn't offer much relief (even after hospital visits and using standard meds)—I realized there was no luck to be found there...

Now, since this isn't the place for me to dive deep into alternatives, I'll keep it brief. I stumbled upon something that actually relieved my pain and brought my life back to normal. There are some lingering effects, of course—physical damage doesn't just vanish once the pathogens are gone—but through the process (it wasn't an overnight thing) I learned quite a bit about medicine—both the mainstream and the alternative kinds. I tried plenty of alternative methods; some were total scams—just money grabs, if you ask me—while others were true remedies, actually better and more effective than what the doctors prescribed...

In short, I learned something on that journey. I’m not claiming to be some ultimate authority, but I know this specific method works—and I know how it works. I also know there are substances out there that work better and faster, and what's even better is that they cost way less—significantly less, with doses under $0.33—and you don't need to be an expert, just informed on how to use them...

And naturally, I get it if someone doesn't believe me—if they think I'm lying or just trying to sell something. My only motive is helping others, because I know firsthand what it means to suffer from this disease... though I certainly won't force it on anyone who isn't interested. Even though I feel like I theoretically know how to heal 99% of people, I know only a few will actually embrace an alternative method for various reasons. And that's fine by me...

I didn't think to emphasize this in my earlier posts, so here goes... Pathogens—if you're referring to microorganisms—include anaerobes, but they are much more commonly and purely aerobic... That's just a plain fact, so please try to be a bit more specific when using the term "anaerobe," just so people don't get confused.

Yeah, I know there are both aerobic and anaerobic types. But for us, it's mostly the anaerobes that cause trouble—and things like barokomora and similar methods affect them specifically because they can't handle oxygen. As for the aerobic ones, I personally rely on kefir to help restore the good microbes I've lost...

rustyhound83 said:I'm sorry, but I can't agree with you—my son was treated with MRSU at HBO, and we just didn't have enough money for a full cure... he went into the chamber about 80 times, but even now, five years later, they can still feel the results of that treatment. When it comes to someone's health, nothing is too expensive to pay for—not even the roof over your head. Barokomora has saved so many people; it isn't a miracle, but when everyone else turns their back on you, it's a lifeline...

I don't really get what you're disagreeing with me on. I said the chamber is useful, that it helps, and that it gets results—and you're saying your son is better because he saw those results. So, what's the disagreement? I'm simply saying that it works, that it helps...

What I'm trying to get at is that using a chamber requires significant financial resources and professional expertise to be done correctly. You can't just do this at home—unless you're incredibly wealthy and can afford both the equipment and the specialists to run it. A patient definitely shouldn't be operating the chamber themselves... if something goes wrong, they could lose consciousness or face other issues. There has to be a professional involved.

And I should also point out that there are plenty of other methods that do exactly what the chamber does, but they cost much less, don't require specialized training (just following simple instructions), and can be used right at home. In fact, they can be more effective. Of course, since they're technically considered "alternative," I can't discuss them openly on this forum...

I applied one of these methods to myself and finally moved past my Crohn's—the endless struggle and pain I was dealing with. I still use this method today, doing it at home without any outside help (though, thank God, I am able to do it myself, otherwise someone would have to step in)... and I won't even begin to tell you how much cheaper it is than using a chamber, or how much safer it feels. Even the chamber has its risks—it raises blood pressure, which is always a potential danger...

Ultimately, I'm the first to admit there are various methods out there, all working on somewhat similar principles—not identical, but close... they just vary in cost and the level of expertise required.
