I've got Windows 7 Ultimate installed, but the font in the Windows console is tiny. Like, ridiculously small. I can't read a single thing, and I have no clue how to bump up the size so it's actually usable.
Yo, does anyone know where I can snag some cheap fireworks and stuff for New Year's? I've been scouring the web, but honestly, everything looks overpriced. It feels like everyone is just gouging people right now. I was looking at this one shop, but I have no clue if they're ripping me off or not. Is there anywhere in Los Angeles where I can actually find a decent deal without getting cleaned out? 🙂
You could've actually specified which part of the mountains you're hitting, because it's not just one single resort out there. Look, this page has a list, but everywhere it says "0 cm" next to the snow—and honestly, something tells me these guys think "snow" means something else entirely😬... probably just a bad translation.
If you're heading down to a Small town in the Midwest, they're saying the frost is finally starting to settle in. Good luck.
I'm thinking about hitting the Rockies next week, but I'm lowkey stressing because I can't find any decent updates on the snow levels. I'm honestly torn on whether to even bother going, especially since it's been way too warm lately for this time of year. :/
I'm looking at picking up this Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 570 http://www.gigabyte.com/microsite/26...570SO-13I.html right now I'm running a GTX 470 that's already overclocked to 730 MHz. I've been thinking about grabbing this one just so I can push it all the way to 900 MHz, but honestly, I'm second-guessing if it's even worth the cash $0.90 or if I should just sit tight and wait for those new Nvidia 600 cards to drop?
I’m thinking about picking up an Nvidia GTX 570, but right now I’m running an Nvidia GTX 470 that I’ve got pushed to a 700 core and 1400 Memory overclock. Is it actually worth the cash to jump to the Nvidia GTX 570? How much of an FPS boost am I really gonna see? I mainly care about gaming, specifically Battlefield 3 which isn't dropping in about 10 months—I don't want my rig chugging when I try to crank everything to max settings. Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550, Socket 775, 3.20GHz Memory: 4012MB RAM Hard Drive: 6 TB Video Card: Gigabyte SUPER OVER CLOCK Nvidia GTX 470 1280MB GDDR 5 Monitor: LCD/TV 24" Samsung P2470HD, 1920x1080, DVB-T, MPEG4, HDMI Sound Card: Realtek HD Audio output Speakers / Headphones: Plantronics gamecon 367 Keyboard: Logitech G11 Mouse Mouse: Sharkoon Fireglider Mouse Surface : Razer Goliathus speed edition ( Medium ) Operating system
Look, I’m thinking about getting into hunting, so I wanted to ask—if I actually managed to get a permit for a handgun, how much would it run me just to buy the license for a standard 9mm? I'm 18 now, so I figured I'm good to go.
crimsonstag84 said:A GTX 580 isn't gonna be some magic fix. You're already running a GTX 470 soc, which is actually a beast. It’s just not worth dropping cash $1000 just to squeeze out an extra 10 FPS in one single game... Honestly, you can probably crank up 98% of games to max settings without breaking a sweat, you're just obsessing over this one title 😂
Just dial back the settings a bit... 😉
You could always try OCing that CPU with an aftermarket cooler instead. Way cheaper way to go. Looking at your setup, the motherboard seems solid and the case has decent airflow... plus, the Q9550 is a pretty damn good clocker 🙂
I've got an Asus Silent Square evo cooler so I'm done messing with overclocking the CPU. But what about my RAM? I'm stuck with DDR 2 800 mhz right now and the motherboard won't go past 1066 mhz. Is it even worth hunting down some DDR 2 that hits 1066 MHz?
Man, I’m trying to run Crysis 2 with DirectX 11 and all the extra packs installed, but the FPS just tanks. It hits below 15 whenever things start blowing up and the action picks up. It's driving me crazy. I’m thinking about picking up a GTX 580, but I have no clue if it’ll actually help. I really just want to stay above 30 FPS without everything slowing down to a crawl. Is a GTX 580 even worth the money if it won't fix my lag?
They probably already sold her off. If she hasn't been caught up in some human trafficking ring yet, she's basically a gold mine right now with the economy being this much of a dumpster fire
Patrick Garcia4 said:Basically, grab the monitor remote, hit SOURCE, then tap the TOOLS button. From there, you gotta find the "edit name" option and just hit OK/Accept on the remote. Once that source selection window pops up, look under HDMI and pick the PC source (just a heads up, once you hit the HDMI option, you have to press OK/ACCEPT on the remote first so the menu with all the different sources actually shows up). After that, use the Coachella button to get out of there and select the HDMI output under SOURCE.
or
just switch him over to a VGA or DVI cable.
I tried that first thing you said and it worked! Everything looks perfect now that I cranked the resolution up to max!! thx 👍👍

Man, I don't know, I've got this 24-inch HDTV and you're probably using some old-school LCD. Seriously, when I was sitting too close to it, my eyes felt like they were actually gonna explode for two days straight. Once I backed off a bit, the pain finally stopped.
So I just picked up this 24-inch HDTV monitor, right? I’m sitting about five feet away from it and was wondering—is that actually gonna mess with my eyes or anything? Should I back up even further?
