So, here’s the deal.
I get really, really anxious about infectious diseases. Last year, I slept with a girl—we used protection, but we also had oral sex.
This all went down back on October 3rd, 2009. It was actually my very first time with a girl, though she wasn't a virgin. Afterward, I completely panicked about IBM (even though she told me she'd tested before and was totally fine). I ended up going to a clinic, specifically that health center in San Francisco, and the doctor told me I had to wait at least three months after contact to get checked. I finally went in around December 29th, 2009, to test, and thank Bob, the results were negative. (It was an ELISA test for IBM 1/2 antibodies and p24 antigen)

I didn't have any other sexual encounters between October 3rd and my test on December 23rd, 2009, though we did some kissing.

The report still says people in high-risk groups should retest after 3 to 6 months. Does that apply here?????

Should I maybe go get tested again? (I've never gotten tattoos, I don't do drugs, and I haven't had any other sexual encounters—not then, and definitely not since her.)?!??? 🤷

I'm just hoping enough time has passed to catch anything if there was a problem.?????

Because honestly, I can't stop thinking about this. It's been a year now, just like that guy mentioned earlier 😕 🙂
