I got it plugged in, but honestly, there’s still absolutely nothing on the screen :/
Okay, I finally figured it out—it's working now.
@Casey Long2 thanks so much 😉
If I had an HDMI port, I'd be set. Actually, I've already got a cable that runs from HDMI straight into a DVI output here.
http://www.smelectronics.com/images2/S-HDMI-DVI-1.jpgI also have this AVG adapter that converts to DVI.

@Casey Long2My motherboard is an Asus P5QPL-VM EPU
. I also noticed that these boards were supposed to come equipped with two DVI outputs, but mine is missing one.
I went ahead and snapped a few photos; hopefully, this helps clarify things:

Alright, here’s the situation: I’ve got my main 24-inch monitor hooked up to the DVI port on my graphics card, and everything is running fine. Now, I’m trying to get a second, smaller 17-inch monitor up and running as well—both plugged into the same tower.
The problem is, my graphics card only has one single DVI output. The only other available connection I have is on the motherboard itself, but that’s just a VGA port, and when I tried connecting the second monitor through that, absolutely nothing happened. It’s just dead.
I'm currently running Windows 7.
My GPU is an NVIDIA GeForce HD 4890.

Look, I was planning on posting this later, but since the guy wasn't online, I might as well just drop it here:
I downloaded this file, imported it into the registry, and boom—rebooted the PC and it works perfectly.

Give me a break! My PC is perfectly fine. I just installed fresh Windows, ran a deep scan with Norton, and used CCleaner to scrub the registry... there's no way it's that bad.
edit: figured it out 🙂

2) run a system restore to a point before you ever touched that theme.🙂
I've already tried both of those options, and absolutely nothing is happening.😢
I’m currently running Windows 7, as you can see from the attached screenshot, but I just installed this new theme/skin and now I’ve got all this junk popping up over my icons:

Does anyone know how the hell I can get rid of this? Thanks.
I’ve been running Windows 7 for several months now, and honestly, it’s been smooth sailing—zero issues whatsoever. Everything is working perfectly, and I can easily hunt down all my own drivers if I ever need to. If anything goes sideways, you know I'll be right back here to weigh in.
I’ve tried everything and nothing is working. I attempted the installation, but I haven't even been online for two days. I’ve been using Mozilla for two years straight without a single hiccup, and now, out of nowhere, this starts happening to me.
Every single time I try to log in, the system hits me with a prompt for my password and username
It’s driving me insane—I’m logging in, and then every ten minutes, it's asking for my credentials all over again. I'm using Firefox 3 on my machine
What on earth do I need to do to make this stop happening??
It was already behind us once, and we can't just keep spinning our wheels; we have to move forward.
