Struggling with weight issues in Health ·
Carol Bennett said:I haven't really stumbled upon anything that actually helps me—so, at this point, I’ve settled into a routine of doing 60 crunches every single morning and night. I am seeing some marginal results, I suppose; I've been watching what I eat, which has already helped me drop about two pounds... I'm mostly just wondering if anyone knows of any more intensive abdominal exercises—you know, something a bit more demanding—and which specific movements might actually yield progress. Thanks to everyone for the posts...

Since you’re still carrying some extra weight around your midsection, I suppose the goal should really be burning off that fat rather than just trying to build muscle, because otherwise, that layer is just going to stay right where it is. But hey, you'll probably see those muscles pop eventually once the fat clears out. If you're looking to drop more weight, you might want to try some cardio stuff—like running, cycling, or using a stair climber or something. There's honestly an endless amount of advice out there regarding diet, so it might be worth scrolling back through what's already been written here. Just please don't try to starve yourself, because that usually just slows down your metabolism and ends up being totally counterproductive for weight loss. It might be better to aim for five smaller meals a day—maybe three main ones and two snacks—while keeping an eye on your protein and carb balance. Good luck! 😉
