Right... as if both Red Bulls, both Ferraris, and both Mercedes-Benz cars wouldn't be fighting tooth and nail for a spot on the podium even if they were struggling. Heck, even if both Lotus cars dropped out, the field is still deep enough.☕

As for the weather, it looks like we might get some rain on Friday, but otherwise, it's just going to be pouring. Then again, you can never really count on anything when you're dealing with an Island climate.

I’m just hoping they make at least three pit stops mandatory—anything to stop this from getting predictable too early.

Get real. A truly top-tier driver isn't stepping into Ferrari until Alonso leaves. And once he's there, he'll likely stay until retirement. You simply don't put two absolute superstars in the same Ferrari.

Massa has zero reason to move as long as they have a decent car—which he proved today. If they do replace him, it won't be someone elite; it'll be some second-tier driver meant to support the lead driver and farm points.

He’s basically telling you in a roundabout, subtle way: "Look, I've got money, and I'm more than happy to spend it on you."

Money has nothing to do with it—he had plenty of that long before now. Last year, he seemed actually happy, joking around with Button. But since moving to Merc, it's a complete shift. It’s likely just the frustration of realizing there isn't even a shot at the title this season, let alone fighting for it. If he manages to snag a win, it'll be nothing short of a miracle.

Qualifying was pretty much the only interesting thing about this entire weekend.

Ferrari absolutely choked today... I mean, it was embarrassing. The drivers were running such wildly different strategies that they ended up scattered all over the track. Sutil—who spent basically the entire afternoon dodging chaos and dealing with three pit stops plus a drive-through penalty—somehow managed to finish ahead of them. Good grief. 😲

The race was a total snooze-fest unless you count the sheer frustration of watching it. Without some random luck or a mistake, there wouldn't have been a single overtake. Red Bull Racing is completely out of the running again; they pulled a four-second lead within just the first three laps 🤦
