From his grandfather's last name, then Meta 😁
Wait, so he just moved to Uruguay and left his kids back in the States? And what happened to his wife? This story's getting a little confusing.
Here’s my list:
The Holy Mountain - Alejandro Jodorowsky (honestly one of the wildest, most bizarre movies ever made)
Enter the Void - Gaspar Noé (the cinematography is wild; those visual effects really grab you)
Eraserhead, Inland Empire - David Lynch
Hour of the Wolf - Ingmar Bergman
Festen - Thomas Vinterberg
Dogville, The Element of Crime - Lars von Trier
Damnation - Béla Tarr
Even Dwarfs Started Small - Werner Herzog (this one is even weirder than The Holy Mountain)
The Devils - Ken Russell
Synecdoche, New York - Charlie Kaufman
Taxi Driver - Martin Scorsese
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - Michel Gondry
