Headset recommendations?

Hello, I have run into a bit of a snag. I’m working with an ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe motherboard, and while the rear PCI slots are physically connected directly to the board, they simply aren't functioning. Does anyone know how I might go about connecting USB headphones via those PCI slots? I am looking for a specific schematic or perhaps a workaround—does anyone know if there is a particular adapter available here in the States, or maybe just some budget-friendly USB headphones that would solve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. 😁
