Everything I’ve heard is just what I found online, but honestly, it was enough for me. When we actually met up with them, everything clicked. I didn't get a chance to hear the girl sing, but from what I saw, David does about 90% of the singing while she just handles a few songs here and there. We have a party coming up in April, and my best friend is getting married in September—she booked them too after I gave her the 🙂 recommendation. Even the photographer from Papaya mentioned that if you hire Volar, the vibe is absolutely guaranteed. So yeah, I told everyone I’d be recommending both them and Papaya . I've got Volar playing at my event... they were the very first band I saw, and I knew right away they were the ones... I even lucked out because they happened to be available once we finalized the date and the venue... and our photographer is Papaya...
It all really comes down to how much cash you have ready when you start planning. Some people get ahead of the game and book everything a full year in advance! For my own wedding, which is in four months, I already locked in the band and the photographer months ago. My cousin is getting married in nine months and she booked her photographer just a few days after I did.
Also, I’d love it if you ladies could send me some recommendations via PM for a solid, reliable bridal salon in San Francisco. Every single suggestion in the wedding dress thread seems to be based in NYC...
Where can I order some croquant?! 🤔 I mean someone who actually has a variety... I don't want to be stuck choosing between St. Jude's brand and just three other random options.

We went with Siniša Srdanović for our photographer. 😁
I'm not really sure if they were wearing white... though I think I saw one video where the singer was in a white shirt. 🤔 There were four male vocalists... though we actually brought in a female vocalist to round things out. I’m really hoping the vibes stay positive! :-D
April 28th is the big day! 😍 Has anyone actually been to a party where Volar was playing? Or maybe you’ve caught them live somewhere else? From the recordings I've seen, they seem legendary... but now? They're basically everyone's first choice. If anyone has seen them in person, please let me know 🙂 Thanks!
Nicholas Hernandez7 said:Papaja Studio is absolutely perfect!!! I previously posted about them in the Photographer and Videographer thread, but honestly, you should just browse their work on Facebook; the photos truly speak for themselves. 🙂 By the way, Nikola (who works at Papaja Studio) used to do work for Matić, and I even heard that Matić recommends him personally whenever he's booked up.
The photos are perfect... if you don't mind me asking, what are their rates? You can PM me if that's easier.

Just head over to the filters and select the region tool (out of focus). You'll see a list on the left side—set it to grayscale. Then, move your cursor over the colored part of the image on the right. From there, just adjust the size and feather settings at the bottom to control the selection area. I actually managed to do this with a pair of blue shoes in one of my shots. By using the luminance curve, I turned the whole image black and white while keeping the shoes perfectly colored. Plus, if you click directly on "bright color"—not the arrow next to it, but the button itself—you can slide the hue bar to change the color of that specific detail. Every tiny movement shifts the shade. Hopefully, that helps a little!😁
I want to make a photo where everything is black and white, except for one single red detail. How do I pull that off? Can I actually do this in Adobe, and if so, how exactly? 🤷 I am totally clueless when it comes to this stuff. 🙂
