What we actually witnessed this past Sunday was just the path of least resistance for the FIA, the organizers, and all the teams who were terrified of dealing with any more headaches—mostly because they didn't want to touch their wallets.
They really should have just spent at least 20 laps trailing behind the SC.
If they had just let them get going behind the SC for like 20 laps or so, the track would've definitely dried out by then, and we actually could have had a real race on our hands instead of this mess.
If Russell were actually driving for Mercedes-Benz and pulling off championships, we would have known about it way before the season even kicked off. What a joke of a driver 🙏

Tarso Marques, Daniel Ricciardo, Charles Leclerc, and Fernando Alonso could all eat way too many damn doughnuts before they even get close to being mentioned in the same breath as Sebastian Vettel... because honestly, even combined, they still haven't achieved half of what Vettel pulled off in Formula 1... Right now, they're sitting at maybe 50% of his level at best. 🙂
But hey, feel free to keep hunting for excuses as to why they aren't there yet—take all the time you need... just hit me up whenever you finally come up with something believable. 🙂
It's just because they didn't have a dominant car.
