Gotta watch those Turkish clubs closely. Bursa was buying up a ton of talent this summer... definitely need to dig a bit deeper into their roster before betting big.

Two matches that were basically screaming "GOALS!!!!!" were Inter vs. Roma and Barca vs. Valencia.

Roma’s got Zeman now, and all he cares about is the attack. Stramaccioni is cut from the same cloth—Zeman is his hero—just a younger version of the same philosophy.😍
Barcelona’s defense looks totally lost right now, though I still expect them to cruise to a win. That was pretty much the vibe last season: they'd stumble once, then absolutely demolish whoever showed up at the Camp Nou the next match. Still, Valencia has enough firepower to make things messy.

Look, we've only seen three rounds, so the sample size is tiny, but still... neither side has broken this limit yet:

The odds are set, and Criciúma is still 100% dominant at home. 🙏

They had a total blackout from the 66th to the 78th minute, blowing a 2-0 lead just to end up at 2-2. 😢

Criciúma -1.5 @ 2.20 Pinnacle
Criciúma -2 @ 3.10 Bet365

Criciúma is sitting pretty in second place, and they’ve earned it by being absolute monsters at home—perfect 10-0-0 record with a goal difference of 28-12.
Red Bull Bragantino? They're basically bottom-feeders right now, sitting 3rd from the bottom. On the road, they’re a mess at 2-2-6 with a 6-12 goal difference. More importantly, they're on a disastrous 5-game losing streak where they've been outscored 11-1. Only once in those five games did they even manage to cover the spread.
Like I mentioned in an earlier post, Bragantino is dealing with a massive injury crisis today, and some of their key starters are out.

I'd say New York City is absolutely killing it right now, while Chicago is a total train wreck—zero points in three games and a goal difference of 2:9. Might even be worth looking at the handicap.

That’s what I thought too, but I passed on it... Chicago isn't actually that bad, their first three results were just garbage. They switched coaches, so anything could happen today... 1,70 is way too low for me.

Le Havre - Monaco over 2,5 @ 2.28 Pinnacle

In the first five rounds, both sides cleared this line four times. They only went under against Lens and Laval—teams that play a much more physical game.
Solid odds here. It'd be a mistake to pass on this one.

Likely Newcastle lineup today: Steve Harper; James Tavernier, Mike Williamson (c), James Perch, Ryan Taylor; Gael Bigirimana, Vurnon Anita; Gabriel Obertan, Dan Gosling, Sylvain Marveaux; Papiss Cisse
Soccer Betting in Betting Forum ·
Word on the street is Newcastle is rolling out a pretty ridiculous lineup. With odds this laughable, I wouldn't touch them with a ten-foot pole. 😁

LA Galaxy are basically playing their bench too, but Zack is supposedly so pathetic that even that will be plenty. LA Galaxy -2.5

Nah, not quite. Let's say 2-4 for PSV Eindhoven.😬

Last season PSV Eindhoven absolutely smoked them at home, 6-1... I'm definitely putting a single bet on 6+ goals and seeing what happens.🙂

Keith Moore21 said:Solid odds here—both sides, plus the draw on Real Madrid at +3.80, and PSV spread at +2.60. 🙂

Hmm... looking at the American sportsbooks, over 6 goals for Groningen vs PSV at +8.00.
Am I losing my mind, or does that look insane? 🤣

Lanús vs Racing Club under 2.5 @ 1.50 BetMGM

Not gonna overthink this one. We’re looking at a league that’s basically a paradise for unders, and today we’ve got two teams that have started this season following that exact same script...
19/08-12 1st Division Vélez Sarsfield vs. Lanús 0:2
11/08-12 1st Division Lanús vs. Newell's OB 0:1
04/08-12 1st Division Colón vs. Lanús 1:0

19/08-12 1st Division Racing Club vs. Independiente 2:0
12/08-12 1st Division Argentinos Juniors vs. Racing Club 0:2
04/08-12 1st Division Racing Club vs. Rafael 1:1

Keith Moore21 said:Not sure, man. I just can't bring myself to bet against Liverpool FC, no matter how realistic the odds look on the x2... I pull for them back home in England, so 😁

Look, I'm rooting for them in England too, but... based on what I've seen lately... 😁

Just checking out their head-to-head history. Over the last few seasons, PSV Eindhoven always seemed to struggle against them... but PSV Eindhoven has a killer attack for that league, they'll definitely score. I think Groningen has enough quality to find the net too... idk, I'll try to dig up some intel on this matchup...

They lost 4-1 to Twente, and honestly, PSV Eindhoven looks a step above them... assuming that trip to Mexico didn't totally drain them... a win with a handicap is looking likely here. That'd be a solid payout 🙂

And what about Real Madrid? At 1.30? Surely they won't choke twice in a row. 🤷

Even if they're playing poorly, three games without a win (and a fourth one looking imminent) would be overkill. Getafe CF is going to get smoked; expect at least a 1-0 result. ☕

Keith Moore21 said:And who knows, maybe Luis Suarez is actually good enough to kill Liverpool, or maybe he isn't. 😕

Forget that offer, I found PSV over 2.5 instead. 🙂 🤣

Fair point, it's a bit risky... 2x @ 1.50 is plenty for me...

PSV over is at 1.50, while a straight win is 1.60... gotta dig into how FC Groningen is playing first, might be better to just grab the PSV win. 😕

Keith Moore21 said:I’m pretty sure Manchester City scores at least one goal here (Betting Odds), feels like value given how Liverpool’s defense looks 🤷 even though I’m rooting for Liverpool and want them to pull it off, but... yeah... 😬

They're right up there for me too, but maybe an x2... honestly don't see how Liverpool manages to beat them (sadly)... maybe if Luis Suarez plays the game of his life 😕
Also, over 2.5 goals at 2.25 could be a thing.

Pinnacle Fiorentina - Udinese 1@2.07

Fiorentina actually beefed up this season. They brought in the brains Borja Valero and that veteran defender Gonzalo Villarreal from Villarreal, plus Aquilani from Liverpool FC, Claudio Pizarro from Roma, Matías Fernández from Sporting CP, Cassani from Palermo FC, and the wild card El Hamdaoui from Ajax Amsterdam. Sure, they lost heavy hitters like Behrami, Cerci, and Christian Gamberini, but honestly? Not a huge loss.
On top of that, their star man, Mexican Jovetić, is still in Florence despite all the interest from clubs in England.

Udinese, on the other hand, got gutted. Lost Asamoah and Isla to Juventus FC, and Handanovic went to Inter Milan. Now they’re just cycling through cheap talent—buy low, sell high, that whole deal.🙂
The experienced fox Antonio Di Natale is still their biggest threat in front of the net.
Udinese also had a brutal midweek trip playing Europa League qualifiers against SC Braga, ending in a 1-1 draw.

Over the last four seasons, Fiorentina has absolutely owned them at home. They crushed them every single time: 3:2, 5:2, 4:1, and 4:2.

The guys from Udine are probably feeling the fatigue, too. Given everything else, there’s zero reason the Purples shouldn't walk away with a win today. ☕

Athletic B - Slaven

Javi Martinez, Iker Muniain and Ander Herrera are away at the Olympics, Amorebieta is recovering from pelvic surgery, and Mikel San Jose is getting over the chicken pox.

They’re missing some huge pieces for Athletic B. Plus, their season doesn't even start for another 17 days, so they’ll probably sleepwalk through this game against Slaven... honestly, I think it's worth a shot:
