Being a "bad" parent isn't just limited to those struggling financially. Just as there's planning for a child's college fund, there's also planning for emergency funds, family risk protection, active personal wealth management, and so on. In the US, things still feel far too reactive and disorganized. It's a perfect reflection of how this entire country is run. Ultimately, the people leading our nation are just a mirror image of ourselves... after all, we're the ones who voted them in. 🙂

Don't even touch that Go Card! Honestly, just pay in cash or use a debit card instead. Those interest rates are insane—it’s basically a debt trap that lasts forever. I had one for a year and just finally shut it down last week. If I remember right, the rate is around 12% annually, but that's just the nominal rate, not the actual APR you end up paying. It’s such a scam, total "halfway house" vibes where you're constantly losing ground 😁
It was only a matter of time before this happened, and honestly, I get it. This forum isn't really here for us anyway; it’s a business meant to turn a profit, and clearly, they found a way.
