1. Nico Rosberg 2. Lewis Hamilton 3. Sebastian Vettel 4. Kimi Raikkonen 5. Daniel Ricciardo 6. Max Verstappen 7. Nico Hulkenberg 8. Valtteri Bottas 9. Romain Grosjean 10. Felipe Massa
Just for fun:since I’ve officially been knocked out of the playoff hunt!!!
Mexico Grand Prix 2016:
1) Lewis Hamilton 2) Nico Rosberg 3) Sebastian Vettel 4) Daniel Ricciardo 5) Kimi Raikkonen 6) Max Verstappen 7) Sergio Perez 8) Nico Hulkenberg 9) Romain Grosjean 10) Valtteri Bottas
Looks like we have a pretty good idea of who’s facing off in the quarterfinals now—and yeah, this applies to everyone finishing below 3rd place using those tiebreaker points.
Let's see if this winning combo holds up with my prediction for the 2016 US Grand Prix:
1. Lewis Hamilton 2. Nico Rosberg 3. Daniel Ricciardo 4. Sebastian Vettel 5. Kimi Raikkonen 6. Max Verstappen 7. Daniel Ricciardo 8. Nico Hulkenberg 9. Sergio Perez 10. Valtteri Bottas
And Massa finished in 12th—which means he actually picks up an extra 2 points. I have no idea why graniteharbor502 missed that detail—honestly—but I’m officially calling for an explanation here.
Man, oh man... Massa finished 12th, Button beat me—along with Gutierrez—and I honestly didn't see that terrible driver breaking into the top 10 either.
So, if my math is right, we're looking at 33—not a bad start, really, but we still need to see how the rest of the field holds up.
1. Hamilton 2. Rosberg 3. Verstappen 4. Ricciardo 5. Vettel 6. Raikkonen 7. Perez 8. Hulkenberg 9. Button 10. Massa p.s. Vettel is sitting with a +3 penalty due to that mess from the last race!!!!
1. Nico Rosberg 2. Lewis Hamilton 3. Sebastian Vettel 4. Daniel Ricciardo 5. Max Verstappen 6. Kimi Raikkonen 7. Daniil Kvyat 8. Valtteri Bottas 9. Nico Hulkenberg 10. Felipe Massa
I’m hoping my colleagues Casey White13 and stormyharbor13 actually take a look at my message—it includes the link regarding the proposal for a new competition (I REPEAT: A COMPETITION)—which, if the majority agrees, could get underway quite soon.
