We haven't even seen the full viewership numbers for May yet, but looking back at April, the LP final was actually the most-watched single piece of content out there.
And that was on cable, too. Even though everyone's cutting the cord these days, it still managed to be the only cable show to crack the top 15.
After that "tackle" in the first game, and now this "strike" in the second, I am begging you—stop using that excuse that "a sidekick to the leg is just how you get onto the bus." From here on out, save that garbage specifically for those guys from Jersey.
I was sitting here thinking I’d just witnessed the absolute biggest disaster of the week, and then completely shuts me down less than twenty seconds later.
Finally, someone actually executed an indirect free kick the right way. Instead of just aiming straight at the keeper, they sent it to someone totally unexpected—a clean strike from 14 yards out.
Copper 🤦 man, seriously, first off—stop being such a cheapskate with the additions, but this whole "not adding anything" thing is straight up criminal 🙏
For real though, even that handyman didn't do squat because there was basically a two-foot wall of junk in front of him the entire time.
Mitrovski plays like a high-octane version of Teklić, but man, it’s frustrating because he just can't find the back of the net. Even when he actually manages to score, it’s like the universe conspires against him and the goal gets called back. Still, if he sticks around with the club in Varaždin—not that I know what the deal is with their management right now—he could be an absolute breakout star next season.
Solid game over at the local stadium. The Orange squad was throwing high pressure around like they were Pep’s version of Barcelona. Honestly, if the visiting side doesn't find the back of the net soon, Domjanić is gonna be left hanging.
It definitely doesn't look like we're headed for a scoreless draw.
And I suppose I shouldn't even mention that I was actually supposed to be there today... though, well, business obligations intervened, I guess. They just sort of... got in the way. 🙏
For me, it wasn't even about being busy—it was just pure, old-fashioned laziness.
Plus, I can't even remember if I actually texted you saying I was heading over.
