Man, I was hanging out near the Farmer's Market and practically bolted out of my building because I thought some plane had gone down somewhere really close by.
So, basically, everything the Russians are doing to Ukrainians is exactly what Americans did to you guys, but somehow that’s fine because the Russians are just doing it so the Americans don't get the chance first? Makes perfect sense, right?
Jessica Gonzalez said:Dancing with fools—Maja Šokot looks pretty rough here. I guess if she sat down next to me without any makeup on, I might end up even more traumatized than I am after watching these clips from Mexico.
That whole show has been a complete train wreck ever since she left the big networks.
Paul Sanders5 said:I honestly live for the break because I always end up needing a bathroom run right after finishing a .7 Coke, so you're basically sprinting to make sure you don't miss anything, or just sitting there trying to guess which part of the movie is gonna be the biggest snooze fest 😳 😁
Ugh, I can't do that. For me, once the intermission hits, I need at least ten minutes just to reset my brain before I can actually get back into the movie. Honestly, that’s way worse than just losing two minutes to a quick bathroom run.
But whatever, as long as the movie is worth the watch, it's fine.
Paul Sanders5 said:Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is some kind of Year One thing, like the origin story. I won't get into the weeds and spoil it for you, but since you asked—Batman is supposed to have that detective vibe, not just mindless action like basically everyone else. That's how Batman should be, winning with his brain instead of just swinging fists.😁
No intermission, which actually surprised me. At least at AMC Theatres there wasn't one. Now, James Bond was maybe 20 minutes shorter and did have an intermission. Honestly, I have no clue how they decide that stuff.🤷
Give me that. That's the kind of Batman we need.
And hopefully the schedule has those little stars, you know, to show which ones have breaks and which don't. I always try to dodge the ones with intermissions, but man, there's always that one special feature that catches you out.
Paul Sanders5 said:Just caught the new Batman at AMC Theatres, and man, it was a blast—definitely felt cinematic. Though, if I'm being honest, the lead actor just isn't giving me those Batman vibes... he's missing that specific beard look, you know?
Is it actually true though, that it feels more like a gritty detective thriller compared to those Snyder movies?
And should I grab snacks or skip them? I really wanna go with my crew, but there’s this one badger in the group who literally can't handle a three-hour movie without needing constant breaks. It's such a drag, but man, what can you do with people?
Jessica Gonzalez said:I wonder if Miller has said anything about this yet?
Nah, hasn't hit the news yet. I bet he's busy throwing shade at some massive banner featuring a historical figure during a Yankees game, just like all the usual trash talk you hear echoing through our own stadiums.
