The forum has been running quite smoothly for some time now... no more daily glitches or interruptions. It functions as expected. I had simply set an error message to ignore that kept popping up...
What is the point of uploading YouTube clips when the site is already struggling like this? It just feels like more unnecessary strain on an already congested system... though, I suppose I haven't had any issues with it lately. Perhaps they finally patched something. I haven't touched my settings or reinstalled anything, yet the forum loads just fine...
But this isn't some permanent fix or a definitive solution... what becomes of the forum when accessed via mobile, or those who simply don't frequent this particular corner of the site? And even with my AdBlock active, the speed remains sluggish enough to be maddening...
I am uncertain whether any of the administrators have actually weighed in over these last ten pages... they seem content to simply observe the conversation without ever truly intervening...

What’s wrong with AT&T? I haven't had a single billing issue in over a year, $73, and I run three computers simultaneously without any lag at all. Sure, the connection dips slightly when everyone is streaming at once, though I actually end up getting better speeds than what I pay for—I'm on a 3mbps plan but usually pull 4 or 5. Plus, the cable TV is flawless and never buffers... I can't even remember the last time I had to bother customer service. 😉
There are billions of threads on Reddit that have been locked and serve absolutely no purpose anymore... especially those bloated with endless images and videos. It would certainly help if they were just purged. But instead, they preserve them for some future "generation" of users hoping to stumble upon something specific via a search engine...

It seems none of the administrators or moderators have bothered to respond here: admin@reddit.com so we can actually address this issue. Honestly, the loading speeds are becoming quite infuriating... especially when my connection is hovering somewhere between 3 and 5 Mbps on Comcast...
The sluggishness of this page loading is becoming truly unbearable... and it isn't just an issue on my local network, so I can't exactly blame AT&T. Everything else on the web loads instantly, yet this forum feels like I'm back in the era of dial-up connections...
Can anyone tell me if there’s an option in the settings to wake my PC using just the keyboard—assuming it isn't in sleep mode—similar to how things worked back in the Windows XP days... where I could shut everything down and just tap a key to bring it back to life...
I am at a loss as to where to turn... I have Windows 7, and it refuses to burn any CDs, ejecting them almost immediately after a few seconds, though they aren't blank. Does anyone know which program I might install to actually burn a disc properly?
I honestly don't care if it was a beta version or not... when I sat down to install it, I wasn't paying much attention to the labels, I just clicked on the update button... now that I've downloaded this more stable version, we'll simply have to wait and see how the whole system manages to run... but thanks for the help... 🙂

Is anyone else dealing with Shockwave constantly crashing on them? It’s becoming a genuine nuisance... my browser tends to hang quite a bit right before the crash happens. I just have to hit refresh and everything seems fine again, despite having the latest version installed...

Just one question... what on earth would you even need those kinds of gimmicks for? On another note, I'm wondering why my GIF animations won't play properly in the standard Windows photo viewer. When I open them, I just get a static image... everything worked perfectly fine back on XP...
