Disability rating levels
in Health ·
My husband has been on disability for about ten years now. He’s never actually gone through the official process to have his specific level of disability formally rated. I keep nudging him to get it sorted, but he just can't face the thought of trekking back and forth to various medical boards and government offices. Given that he lives with spinal muscular atrophy, I'm certain he qualifies for certain benefits and concessions. Is a physical appearance before a medical board absolutely mandatory, or can this be handled solely through his medical history and submitted paperwork?
