Was Jesus a liberal or a conservative? in Close to Politics ·
🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉

Hey everyone (including Greven🙄 perhaps, perhaps not), I want to wish all of you who celebrate a Merry Christmas!

Personally, I’m celebrating it as a Wide-visioned Modern Man—think of me as a little beacon of warmth and humanity in this crazy world.

My mom, on the other hand, sticks to the more traditional church route.

Meanwhile, my grandkids are already loading up on that sweet Syrup and chocolate, so I’ll probably be dealing with them being hyperactive all night long. 😛 😬

😘 🙂 Have a Merry Christmas Eve/Day! 👋

Maybe you just enjoy being messed with a little bit, sweetheart 😉 🙂......... alright just kidding 😎

Sorry, I can't even wish you a happy Christmas. I mean, do you actually celebrate it, seeing as you claim to follow Jesus Christ so closely? Just wondering.. for real

Matthew Wright2 said:Sure... a revolutionary... a communist. 👍

The world hasn't actually seen communism without a dictator and a suffering population.
That’s why I don't think Jesus would have ever signed on for it.

Right now, you all have this kind of freedom. 🙄
I mean, you can choose whatever identity you want—communists, atheists, religious folks, or just different political factions, nationalities, citizenships... basically anything else used to divide people.

But honestly, that only matters if people actually act like decent humans toward themselves, each other, and their communities. That's the only way we all move forward.

To me, Jesus was a humanist who set a pretty solid example for how to treat everyone on Earth. 🙂

Jesus really just wanted people to try living with some integrity and basic decency.
He accepted everyone, but I honestly think he turned his back on those who were unfairly forcing common folks to pay taxes.

If you look at it, he was essentially a radical, wasn't he? Someone who stood up against the established norms.
The "norms" back then were things I’d consider downright inhumane by today's standards... like turning away the sick, or watching people get thrown to animals in arenas just for some twisted version of spectator sports.
