So I just got hit with a mandatory citation from the Municipal Court because I parked in the wrong spot. They sent over the bill too, but I already filed an appeal. Quick question—under the new laws, does filing that appeal actually put the fine on hold while things play out?

Not saying that—not even close. But starting from where he's sitting for this race? He’s definitely gonna need a massive stroke of luck if he wants to sniff a podium finish.
Man, Alonso is just cruising, bro. If he gets lucky with some unpredictable chaos—like if a safety car comes out—he could actually snag a high finish...
Anyone got the scoop on the driver car weight 1.? I’d bet my life Kimi Räikkönen is carrying enough extra weight to sink a battleship.
Everything is totally up in the air—we're looking at a situation where nobody can actually pick three favorites for the race with any certainty, which honestly might be a first for Formula 1. In previous years, you always had those 2-3 drivers fighting for the win, and anything else would've been a massive shock. This whole mess has just created total chaos. At least until the diffusers are back in play 🙂

Basically, I let some friends borrow my car, and they ended up getting pulled over by the police. Since none of them were wearing seatbelts, the cops slapped each of them with a $167 fine. Now, here is what’s eating at me: if they decide not to pay—and I’m pretty sure one of them will try to settle up, but the other one is a total flake, so who knows?—will I end up getting hit with a notice because the car is registered in my name, or does the citation actually go straight to their home addresses?
It goes to whoever actually committed the violation. Basically, it hits them—your registration is just on file because you own the vehicle they were driving.
I mean, then the cops are actually doing their job instead of just playing mailman. They’ll be hunting you down everywhere—at work, around the neighborhood, you name it. And once they finally corner you, they just hand you the summons. No biggie, no extra drama. But honestly? It's embarrassing having the police looking for me, so I usually just dodge the first one. By the second time, I'll take it, since it takes until the third attempt for them to actually show up at my door.
One question though: for violations that happened last year, do the statute of limitations follow the old laws? Sorry if this was already posted, I haven't scrolled through everything yet...
So, I just got hit with a summons for municipal court. (My old man actually signed for it—I was planning on just tossing it back to stall for time, but clearly, that plan failed miserably).
Now I’m wondering, is there any way to get out of showing up, or what’s the best excuse to use? Also, can I pull the "my dad forgot to give me the notice because I didn't receive it personally" card? Thanks.
Alright, so is there any way I can push back this hearing? Like, can I just call the courthouse and tell them I’ve got work that day, or maybe claim I'm feeling under the weather...
Can I ask a quick question? My dad just picked up and signed my summons for traffic court today—apparently, I was caught riding my bike without a license, registration, or even a helmet. I was actually planning on being the one to grab it and deal with it, but he beat me to it and signed for it. Is there any way I can play dumb and claim I never got it since I wasn't the one who signed? Thinking about trying to dodge the hearing altogether...
