Have we really concluded that Shakhtar is a "desperate squad" based solely on a single match that these folks played—a match I highly doubt most of you even watched, given how little anyone follows the Kazakh league? Suddenly, after a string of rather dismal performances, the team manages to defeat a "formidable" Slaven Belupo, and they are instantly rebranded as a powerhouse. Is it not perhaps time for us to return to reality?
