Look, I don't actually know anything about you, much like how I don't know anything about ninety percent of the "cases" being discussed on "my" thread. 😒

You definitely dodged a bullet there 🤣

Smith?

I haven't the slightest clue what we're even talking about here...

Maybe we should just let Altec run🤣

😒 Honestly, man, whenever I finally find my way back to this forum, it feels like everything has shifted 🤣🎉

Seriously, just ask me what hasn't changed around here, because we all know how it goes: if you drop a piece of buttered toast, it’s inevitably going to land face-down on the floor. 😉

Robin Lopez2 said:Wait, was 1mg of Risperdal not enough for you, or did you stop taking it because you felt better and then symptoms came back?

Give me a break, let's be realistic here.🍿☕

you down to talk more about that stretch when you were trying everything?🤔

It all happened in just three days.☕

Robin Lopez2 said:And here I was thinking you’d disappeared because life was finally looking up with that 1mg dose and your new job, but instead, you're out here trying to end it all. 😲

😵😵😵😵😵 Well, what can I say? Clearly, my absence from the board speaks for itself.

Honestly, damn... I am just so incredibly glad to be alive; I'm soaking up every single new day to the absolute MAX.

jadeharbor81 said:Currently on the "trying to exercise and stop eating total garbage" diet... 🎉🎉

I’ve officially entered that phase of my life where I’m attempting to actually stick to a diet, which mostly involves trying to walk as much as humanly possible and making a conscious effort to stop treating my body like a dumpster for junk food. 🎉🎉🎉

I’ve definitely put on some weight from nothing but white bread and the sheer, thrilling excitement of being stuck in this hospital—and by exciting, I mean it’s anything but a luxury spa retreat here.
It’s wild, too; I’ve seen two patients who are actually pregnant somehow managing to smoke and take all these medications, which seems like a recipe for disaster. I know plenty of you have kids, but 🕺 honestly, at this point, it doesn't much matter what I think since I already aired my grievances in my previous posts..
So, are you following some specific diet plan, or just winging it?

keep talking... how've you been?

🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Honestly, it’s bordering on manic 🤣 I feel like everyone is just obsessed with me lately
My computer is acting up and running incredibly slow
Plus, I’ve put on a little weight, so I’m feeling a bit self-conscious
Between sticking to my diet, meal prepping, and running errands at Target or the local grocery store—where there’s always some ridiculous sale going on—I’m exhausted; I still need to find a decent guy, too, so if anyone out there actually has some courage, step up. 🤣🤣

Larry Lewis said:I get it, really I do, but we aren't supposed to be having this kind of side conversation here. 😒

Who's actually chatting? I woke up feeling completely frazzled, downed two coffees, and then headed straight to the kitchen to cook. Breakfast was just some watermelon, then I swung by the local corner store to pick up a donut and some bread for my grandma—not that I’m actually eating it myself. 🙂 While I was at the local pub, I ran into this guy who was talking about whether or not she had received a Ziploc injection; honestly, I have no idea what that even means, so I just told him, "Well, that sounds great for you." (He’s dating the girl who supposedly gets the Ziploc thing, and she has a kid from her previous marriage). When I told him how great it sounded, he basically said they constantly have to walk on eggshells around her to make sure she's happy, and then he goes on, "We just met, but I'm going to marry her." He mentioned she'd developed that dreaded little belly—and I'll go ahead and add "dreaded" there, because it's that specific look a lot of female patients tend to get. We call it the "suburban pooch," though I suppose you might have your own version of that midsection bloat. Then I tell him, "Don't you dare leave her," and he just shrugs and says, "No way, she's exactly my type." ☕ Honestly, I'm not going anywhere until 6:00 PM. If the heat doesn't kill me first, I might even head out for a little bit later. ☕

Larry Lewis said:Why don't you hop into the chat?

Well, I’ve already spent my energy typing out the whole saga of where I’ve been, so I was basically on my feet and moving from half-past six until now.🥱
Schizophrenia - General Discussion in Psychology & Therapy ·
My legs have been feeling all shaky and weak since about 7:30, so 🥱
Oh, by the way, did you hear about that tragedy at the Medical School in Jankić? Some guy and a girl managed to take their own lives there, and I honestly can't wrap my head around how they pulled it off :curious:
The guy was around forty—well, he would have been—and the girl was somewhere in her thirties. May they rest in peace, though meanwhile, I'm just over here looking for a comfortable bed

Larry Lewis said:Oh, sure—once you finally pull that F-20 off, you’ll be just as "supercool" as I am. Honestly, if that's your definition of success, then we're all in for a very long, very dull ride. 😵

Why bother wasting our breath on more arguments? It’s not like we can actually afford to see a psychiatrist every time my temper flares up anyway. Sure, they have plenty of money, but they certainly aren't sharing any of it with us. Hah.
So my uncle finally made it back from Canada, and he’s already out there dropping ten grand on some antique Bible like he’s trying to buy his way into heaven.
And I'm hanging out with my old man today, too. 🙂 I’m picking up some flip-flops for the beach trip, and I'm about to settle the bill. $43 So he’s out here claiming he would never drop that kind of cash on some girls from overseas, yet somehow he managed to pick up a brand-new Chevy and the latest iPhone while I was stuck in the hospital. Apparently, there’s just no budget left in his life for me. Well, fine. I’m heading to see Billy Idol this Monday, and I'll be doing it in his honor. ☕ I've spent quite a bit of time watching this video, and I find myself sitting here trying to reconcile the sheer intensity of what’s being presented with the reality of how we actually function in everyday life. It feels a bit like watching someone attempt to run a marathon through a swamp while wearing heavy combat boots—it's an incredible display of grit, certainly, but you have to wonder about the long-term sustainability of that kind of mental strain. There's a certain poetic weight to the way they frame the struggle, almost like a modern parable, yet it leaves me questioning whether we are romanticizing the grind at the expense of actual logic. It’s one thing to push through a difficult moment, but it’s another entirely to build a lifestyle around constant friction, much like how some people insist on driving a vintage muscle car through a blizzard just to prove they can handle the steering. You have to ask if the payoff is worth the inevitable breakdown.

Larry Lewis said:Maybe they’ve finally pulled themselves together 🤷

I am genuinely glad you're still kicking 👍

But they haven't updated my status from an F-20 to an F-25 yet, so I guess I'll just keep making progress in every possible way, day by day. 😵

Honestly, I'm just happy to be alive myself, all things considered. 👍

And now we hear Secretary Varga has been arrested—God help us—and the new director of the Jankomir facility showed up acting like he's got a Rib in his pocket... If I had known back then that I wasn't allowed to smoke anymore, I never would have done it in the first place, right? Does that sound logical to you? 😁

Larry Lewis said:Anyway, the crazies have been quiet for a while now.

And I am definitely over here messing with my own brain chemistry too 😉

They're quiet, but for what reason? It’s not like they were there when I was actually trying to end it all—not that I stayed around long enough to hear an apology. 😛
It reminds me of that old series about the Black Rose, you know, that whole movement back in the eighties where people were essentially dropping like flies; that show still lingers in the cultural memory, doesn't it? My mother—though frankly, I have no clue if she's currently in Heaven, Hell, or some sort of purgatory 😁—was a total Rose type herself. She practically drank through everything in three days. I remember having my last cup of coffee by the ocean back in September 2014, and once I finally made it back, I just swallowed whatever was left in the cabinet. I spent twelve days in a coma, and then they hand me over to this doctor who had put me on ECT while lecturing her students about whether I was experiencing "regression" or some other clinical buzzword. Eventually, they hauled me off to Jackson—it was quite the "unique experience," to say the least. 🥳 Dealing with rebro haldol wtf at one place, or leponex wtf over at Jankomir? Now, they've switched me to Seroquel XR, and Lithium is off the table entirely 😛 because the feeding tube absolutely wrecked my thyroid. So, picture this: I stumble away from some clueless adjunct professor at the Medical School in Jankić, weighing thirty pounds heavier than when I left the bed, only to be rushed to a hospital in the city so my lungs wouldn't fail and I wouldn't drop dead. And now, 😂 I'm sitting here taking lung medication and smoking cigarettes... I wonder if I can keep this up until tomorrow.

What’s up, everyone? It’s been quite a while, but thanks to a steady supply of Pringles, I’ve finally managed to earn myself a nickname.
Did anyone actually miss me? And more importantly, what on earth has been happening in the world lately? 🤔 Oh, wait, I think I know: 🤦 I’ve basically lost my mind thanks to all these pills. Then again, maybe I never had much of a brain to begin with—just weak genes, frayed nerves, and a bunch of messy brain chemistry, right?☕

Harold Anderson3 said:I thought I’d switch things up for a moment... while I could certainly dive into a discussion about medications, what I really want to talk about is how the negative symptoms have been absolutely washing over me these past couple of weeks. It feels like I'm just retreating further into myself and my own dark thoughts; I struggle with this heavy sense of worthlessness, and whenever I actually need to get something done, my brain just shuts down—I end up just staring blankly at the floor, lost in thought. Unlike a lot of other people dealing with schizophrenia, I feel like this was always part of my makeup, even back in early childhood. I started withdrawing into my own little world when I was just a kid, whereas most of my peers seemed to be functioning pretty normally before they were diagnosed. Because of that, it feels more like a slow, creeping progression for me, which makes me wonder if there's even much that can be changed at this point. I suppose I’d love for someone to try and convince me otherwise, but honestly, I'm feeling pretty pessimistic about how well I'll ever be able to function in society again.

You’re the expert on your own mind. Just try to work through that darkness on your own terms, and don't let it make you second-guess yourself during those moments when you actually feel okay. 👍

Seroquel actually has a pretty terrible reputation specifically because of its side effects. Honestly, there are much better alternatives out there, like Q-pin or Loquen....☕

Sure. Low blood pressure and night terrors aren't exactly the dream scenario. Honestly, switching over to Rispolept has been a massive improvement. ☕
