Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
My pill break is officially over, but my period is still hanging on—and honestly, it feels like it’s not going to quit anytime soon. 😕 I’ve only been on the pill for about three months, and up until now, my flow was surprisingly short and stayed pretty much on schedule. But today, I’m supposed to be starting a brand-new pack, and this bleeding just won't wrap it up. I know that things can get a bit messy with spotting when you first start or stop birth control, but I’m a little worried. Since I was being incredibly "messy" with my timing last month—and by that, I mean I wasn't exactly a model of consistency—is it possible my body somehow "interpreted" a gap in my doses longer than 12 hours 😬 as if I had actually stopped taking the pill altogether? Does that mean I should basically wait until my next cycle starts before I can consider myself protected again?
Weird issues with my earlobes in Health ·
So, it usually starts with this mild, nagging itch just behind my ear—and then, almost like clockwork, a sort of painful, subcutaneous bump starts forming right there. As for the outer ear itself, I get these little swellings along the folds in the back, if you know what I mean. Honestly, I’m struggling to even put a name to it since I’ve never actually had to deal with anything like this before—I didn't even realize it was something people dealt with, really. 😕
The bumps and the swelling tend to cycle around—sometimes it's the left side, sometimes the right. Any idea what might be going on? And let’s just rule out hygiene right off the bat, because I’m pretty meticulous about that. 😁
I also deal with these painless cysts popping up on the back of my neck—which I've noticed seem to flare up whenever I'm stressed—but this whole situation around my ear is just... baffling.

So, what does machine-based scar drainage actually look like in practice? 🤔
