Help! Does anyone actually know where I can find those matte finish clear tape rolls? You know, the ones without the glare, so when you stick them onto paper or a bill, they don't look all shiny and obvious. Everywhere I’ve looked, they only carry the standard 0.75 inch stuff, but I really need something wider than that—at least 1.2 inches...
I'm trying to track down where I can actually pick up some Paw Paw tablets... also, is there any truth to the idea that you can get pretty solid results if you pair them with a specific diet?
Tonsil tumor: What should I look for? in Health ·
I'm not on some crazy diet, I don't have yeast issues... my Vitamin B and iron levels are totally fine too. ;( If only it were actually that simple...
Tonsil tumor: What should I look for? in Health ·
What does an tonsil tumor actually look like? I had my tonsils removed back when I was 11, and everything seemed fine at first—healed up perfectly. But then, about two months later, things started getting weird. I began getting this metallic taste in my mouth. At first, I figured maybe it was a stomach issue, or honestly, I thought maybe one of those old dark fillings was reacting poorly. But when I really took a good look in the mirror, I noticed these red, vein-like streaks way back near the root of my tongue, deeper inside. This has been going on for two months now and it just won't budge. It’s a total mess... it doesn't hurt, and there's no stinging, but there's this constant, dull burning sensation and that metal taste. I'm terrified it might be a tumor. ;( My appointment with the ENT isn't for another two weeks, and I think I'm going to lose my mind from worrying before then. Has anyone else dealt with anything similar or had these symptoms? What did your diagnosis end up being? ;(((((((
Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
So, after another round of endless searching—who knows what I'm even looking for anymore—my cousin comes to me. She says she was told she has some kind of cerebrovascular damage, and apparently, it was triggered by her birth control. Her symptoms were headaches, dizziness, those weird visual flashes... so she went in for testing. Honestly, it sounds completely bizarre to me that oral contraceptives could cause something like that. Has anyone here dealt with anything similar?😲
Superstitions in Miscellaneous ·
Has anyone ever heard of that old superstition? You know, the one where if you lose two family members in a single year, a third one is somehow "guaranteed" to follow? It sounds crazy, I know. But a few years back, I went through this—three deaths in my immediate circle, all within just a few months of each other. And now, here I am again, dealing with two losses already this year, and honestly, that old superstition is starting to weigh on me. I’ve been scouring the internet trying to find any mention of it, but I can't find a single thing...
$83 based on the hormone levels? isn't that a bit much? honestly... at those prices, I could probably just go out and buy some brand new ovaries 😉
I guess the best move is just heading to an OB-GYN... anyone here actually dealt with this before?
I'm curious about how testosterone levels are actually measured in women and who I should really talk to about this. My hair is thinning out way more than it should, and honestly, I'm just stumped. My thyroid levels came back fine, so now I want to look into my testosterone. Should I be seeing a gynecologist or an endocrinologist?
Has anyone dealt with this before? Any advice would be appreciated, txn
Thyroid issues and PCOS: Any connection? in Health ·
So, I'm dealing with some thyroid issues and PCOS. Apparently, these cysts on my ovaries are linked to my thyroid acting up. I have diffuse goiter, though my hormone levels seem okay for now since I haven't started any medication yet. But the real kicker—and honestly, the thing that’s really getting to me—is my hair. It’s thinning out like crazy, especially at the crown, and it’s honestly making me feel pretty depressed. I can't help but feel like I'm headed straight for baldness. Has anyone else dealt with major hair loss because of thyroid problems or PCOS? And does the hair actually grow back, or am I just waiting for the inevitable?
