Ashley Young34 said:Yes, they did cut a muscle under my lip, but there's really nothing to worry about😁. My surgeon actually asked if I wanted him to make that incision before the procedure; I opted for it to improve my facial expressions, because my nose used to twitch—or rather, feel tight—whenever I spoke🙄.
Don't be afraid. You'll be under anesthesia anyway, and honestly, reshaping a nose sounds much more intense than cutting a single muscle😁. That said, you might feel some tightness above your upper lip during recovery, which makes sense given the incision mentioned above🙂.
I’d highly recommend Dr. Smith👍.

Thanks for the reply. It just sounds a bit unsettling to hear the phrase "cutting muscle"😁.
Ashley Young34 said:I have to jump in here just to give Dr. Ostojic some credit. He is a true master at his craft. My nose looks absolutely stunning, and for anyone currently struggling to decide which surgeon to trust with their face, I can't recommend him enough. He’s a complete expert. I know this might sound like a testimonial, but I simply had to share...😍

Could you tell me if you experienced any muscle weakness below your lip? That is my biggest concern...😲
I'm really curious about Ostojic; I'm seriously considering him as my surgeon.
MM, this is absolutely fantastic!! Huge congrats on the new stroller, it really is lovely 🙂

I have to ask, what made you decide to go with Tončić specifically? Forgive me if you’ve already touched on that...
Kate Thompson45 said:If it's just a minor correction, does one really have to go under the knife?

I don't have to, but I want to. Most people in my shoes probably wouldn't even consider it. 🤷
Plus, I'm at an age where this isn't some fleeting teenage whim. 😁

I’m facing a real dilemma here—pain is knocking at my door and I have no idea which way to turn. For years, I relied on Voltaren Rapid and was doing just fine. Then I switched to Ketonal Retard for about a year and a half, but that’s when my stomach started acting up. When I went to the pharmacy, they suggested Voltaren injections or Nalgesin Forte. Honestly, I told them absolutely no to the shots! I tried the Nalgesin and was happy with it for about a year, but lately, my stomach has been throwing a fit again after the last two doses; even 😢 isn't helping anymore. I can't take any more of those, yet I’d really love to avoid the injections. My pain levels are intense, and while I know I shouldn't rely on pills, I can't imagine getting through this without them.
Kimberly Baker13 said:Regarding the photos on their websites, Ostojić definitely has better quality shots, whereas Glumičić has been using the same three photos for a decade 🤷 though I find myself leaning toward Glumičić. Honestly, I can't wait for my consultation so I can finally settle this debate...

I’m struggling with those exact same choices 😕, Glumicic vs. Ostojic...
I heard rumors that Ostojic cuts that muscle right under the upper lip or something similar. Looking at the website photos, I'm wondering if that's just standard procedure? If it is, I wouldn't go to him just because of that—it sounds a bit unappealing to me. Plus, I only need a very, very minor correction...

urbangull25 As I was saying:
The only thing that’s really weighing on my mind right now is this one nagging thought: what happens if I just lose it? What if a full-blown panic attack hits me while I'm sitting right there at the table?😲😕

Go ahead, try jumping off the table. 😁

Nice one.👍

urbangull25, don't worry—you'll probably be prescribed something to calm you down before that happens.
