So, about five months ago, I got hit with an androgenetic alopecia diagnosis. My doctor put me on a regimen involving Minoxidil, Fitoval capsules, and Anaphase shampoo—though I only actually started the shampoo part about two months back. Honestly? It feels like my hair loss is still just steadily progressing right in front of me, and I’m seeing absolutely zero real results from this current setup.
After spending way too much time digging through various forums online, I've come to the conclusion that there's really no point in sitting around twiddling my thumbs. I think it’s time to give Propecia a shot, since that seems to be the only thing that actually tackles the root cause of the problem. I know people always bring up the side effects, but from what I gather, those only happen while you're actually taking the medication. I’m willing to take that risk because I know the sooner you start, the better the outcome usually is. Being in my early twenties, keeping what hair I have left means the world to me—I’m really just trying to hold onto it for as long as possible, and then, well, whatever God grants me later on.
I was wondering if anyone else here is currently using Propecia? What kind of results are you actually seeing? Are you even remotely satisfied with it? Also, I’d love to hear how you guys deal with the actual hair loss itself... let's be real, it’s a massive emotional hurdle for any guy dealing with this stuff today.
