Think of the physical body as nothing more than a doll without a soul. I can prove it. Consider what happens when you sleep. You get pricked by a needle. Your hand twitches. Yet, you feel absolutely nothing. Where does your consciousness go during a dream? Or consider someone passing out—they lose awareness entirely before coming to.They came to.

They trigger the release of specific hormones—I believe they call them dopamine, or something along those lines—which have some pretty interesting, even fascinating, effects on brain function and consciousness.

I don't see what's so "immaterial" about this... to me, it feels pretty damn material. 🤷

The brain!!! Consciousness!!! Mysticism!!! Is all of that somehow separate from blood and flesh? Everything we feel...😲😲😲

Not quite. 😢 If that’s the case, then what exactly is a dream... or what happens when you smoke weed or drink?😢😢😲😲

Someone once asked a sage what defines a human being—are we spiritual beings or material ones? His answer was simple:
"We are spiritual beings having a material experience, not material beings having a spiritual one." I'd like to hear from the community: which side of that coin do you land on?

Do you happen to know the specific name of the diagnosis, or maybe the code they used?

It wasn't a psychologist or a psychiatrist. It was some herbalist. I don't know the technical term.

Simple schizophrenia,
Hebephrenic schizophrenia—also known as disorganized schizophrenia,
Paranoid schizophrenia—characterized by the persistent belief that others are following or persecuting you,
Catatonic schizophrenia,
Microsoft—though this final category often aligns more closely with borderline functioning, where one isn't quite ill enough for a full diagnosis but still exhibits mild symptoms.

I was told I have some kind of "nocturnal epilepsy." Apparently, it's electrical issues in the brain... vision impairment, sudden mood crashes, blacking out momentarily, my brain running three times faster than normal, neurons dying off at an accelerated rate, and so on. Ever heard of anything like that?

Can someone outline the different types of schizophrenia and how they're diagnosed? Thanks.

I am truly, deeply sad... I want to stop this cycle, but I feel trapped, like it’s become an addiction I can't break. 😢... What's even worse is how much I seem to lean into this pain. It isn't right, and I know people call this behavior weak or cowardly... But honestly? I’m lost. I don't know what to do next. Please, if anyone has advice, I'm listening... Anything helps.

Crying is fine. If you reach the point where you can't even shed a tear, that's when life is truly over and everything is broken. That part about enjoying the pain isn't good. I know from experience—that pain acts like a magnet. I started typing "run away from it," then deleted it and wrote this instead: FACE IT. GO STRAIGHT TOWARD IT.
