I was just lying there with both my hands tucked under me when they both went completely numb. I couldn't even use my good hand to fix the dead ones. It was a totally freaky sensation—felt like I just had two heavy rubber tires hanging off my shoulders. 😁

No way, I don't believe you🤣 I always imagined someone breaking their neck on those stairs.

My own dramatic falls involve slamming full speed into a VA hospital fence while flying down a steep hill (broken arm) and smashing my knee on the concrete outside a cabin so hard I actually saw the bone.😬

It could have ended badly, but it ended triumphantly—using that same old bike from back in the day (turns out I spent my whole childhood overestimating how well I could brake with my feet instead of learning how to actually use the brakes), I’m cruising down the street, can't stop in time, and end up facing a flight of 25 steps, then a flat stretch, then another 10 steps. I just closed my eyes and trusted I'd hit the bottom.😁 I was the first one on the block to successfully ride a bike down those stairs, regardless of gender.😎

The worst stairs ever. Every single step is about a foot high, and there are way too many of them.

They’re the only stairs in the world where I genuinely hope nobody else ever has to trip on them.😁

I cracked a tooth on a bagel about a year ago. It was just one of my premolars, though, so it wasn't nearly as traumatic as losing one of those front teeth 😬—which honestly wouldn't even be interesting.

It was a bit of a blessing in disguise that it happened while I was sleeping. There were ten people right there who immediately started smashing their teeth in much more violent ways 😬. My head is still full of those surreal images, but at least I got my dental work done. 😬

The same thing just happened to me, though probably a lot worse. The impact was so hard I actually flew backward onto the floor. Now, my upper left molar has shifted back a couple of millimeters and feels totally loose, and a chunk of my right molar is basically gone—like, a good eighth of the tooth is missing. On top of that, the trauma sliced up the inside of both my upper and lower lips, which are all swollen now, and my gums are killing me. It’s not life-threatening or anything, but man, I was genuinely shocked when I saw how much blood was in my mouth and felt my tooth wasn't where it was supposed to be. 😳

I swear, those organic snack brands are huge with the younger crowd who wouldn't know a tractor from a Tesla. I feel like I see them everywhere I turn.

Since no dentists are actually working and the emergency clinic doesn't open until 10 PM, 🙄^n I'm stuck. My uncle's friend is coming over to see me, so I have to head to the hospital this Monday to get a temporary bridge put in just to get this tooth back where it belongs. I can always fix the cracked one at my regular dentist later. Honestly, I was just venting. I’d rather someone just knock me unconscious so they can fix whatever needs fixing and the pain finally stops.

My Audioscrobbler stats are totally off. I listen to most of my music—including stuff at home—on my iPod, and it doesn't track when I'm on Linux. Since finals are coming up, I've been using Linux more and more lately. Still, according to the data, I just look like some dumb punk with broken teeth who’s obsessed with Bob Dylan 😢 It’s funny how life surprises you when things actually turn out to be accurate 😬
