Metacarpal fracture/broken hand bone in Health ·
I’ve also got a fracture in my fifth metacarpal. I actually waited about a week before heading to the ER after the injury happened. Do you think I’m going to run into any issues because I dragged my feet on getting an X-ray and starting treatment? It doesn't look too gnarly and it isn't really hurting much—it just feels more like a hairline crack rather than a full-on break...

May is basically built for live shows... After the Spereri gig, we're waiting on Exploited and Atheist Rap in San Diego... so yeah, things are gonna be wild

The ticket price is insane... $50... man... paying that much just for Cockney Rejects $17. Still, they're legends, so I'll find some way to scrape together the cash for Spereri
.
🙂 Spereri punks not dead :P

Yeah, it’s harmful... and yeah, if you're taking stuff from the street... it's sketchy as hell... but at least try to find something concrete and actually share it with us instead of just venting...😉

Here's the breakdown:
The FDA substance enters the brain and binds to serotonin receptors (they're called 5HT or something similar), signaling the brain to dump serotonin. Once that serotonin floods out—which is what happens during the peak—dopamine binds to those receptors and basically breaks those neurotransmitters down into hydrogen peroxide, which is a literal toxin. That's how the substance causes neuronal degeneration, and it takes about 1 to 3 months for those neurons to recover. Taking high doses of Vitamin C both before and after using the substance can significantly cut down on the damage because it blocks those serotonin receptors. People say Valium works similarly, maybe even better, but that comes with its own set of side effects, so do your own thing.

Back in the 60s and 70s, the FDA substance was actually used quite a bit in psychotherapy, and from what I've read, it had a lot of success. There are plenty of things it can help with, though it can definitely trigger certain mental health issues too. Regardless, the main point is that the FDA substance isn't going to cure cancer right now, but they'll probably "design" a version of it that's more useful for fighting cancer in the future. Other related substances include MMDA, MDA, MDAM, etc.—all based on the same formula but way more destructive. Honestly, what people are selling as the FDA substance today is even worse. Sadly, you'll never truly know what you actually swallowed.

Hey, I was wondering if you guys could reopen that old thread about "hacking Meta profiles"...
this one

Anyway, I have a few questions about Google Analytics and didn't want to start a whole new thread just for that—plus, if I did, it’d be hard to find anyone who actually knows their stuff. Why is it locked? 🤷

If you guys have a sec, maybe drop some tips on how to bypass things or whatever. Cheers 👍
How many inches is that? in Hobbies & Leisure ·

I’m pretty short—about 5'3"—with a 24-inch waist and 35-inch hips. But honestly, when I see those tall girls carrying way more than that, I start feeling like I'm overdoing it. For those of you around my height, what are your measurements looking like? 🙄 Also, what’s your calf circumference at the widest part?

You're exactly my type. So, when are we getting married? 🙂

I’ve been on this forum for 5 years, and online much longer than that. I've seen it all—kind of like an old professor who knows every single way a student tries to cheat on a midterm. I know what people are going to say, I know the catchphrases, I know the arguments, and I know exactly what type of person is going to show up. I don't want to see a repeat of this. I don't want a flame war or some digital kidney stone situation. This thread just stopped making sense.
I could have handed out warning cards and wiped the posts clean, but I decided to take the easy way out. The thread isn't being reopened, at least not anytime soon.

Oof, so 5 years on this forum gives you the right to act like you've got it all figured out? Man. I love a good know-it-all... Btw, if my post bothered you so much, why didn't you just delete it or give me a warning card? Or better yet, let me respond, or at least explain why I can't compare carcinogens to other toxins. Just a flat "you can't compare them"... If you're so sure, why didn't you prove it in your own posts? But hey, when you don't have an answer, it's definitely easier to just kill the thread... Look, I'm not saying I'm 100% right, but I at least want proof. If you can't show me, maybe someone else can—that's literally what this damn forum is for. It shouldn't be a place where you shut everything down the second you see a post you don't like. I honestly don't get you. Having the power to close threads, issue warnings, or hand out bans is a responsibility, NOT a privilege you get to use to shut down interesting discussions whenever you feel like it.

I’m filing an appeal against placidjackal36 for shutting down the "effects of marijuana on the brain" thread. Honestly, the whole thing was closed because of my own stupid post, which wasn't even meant to derail the conversation—it was just a quick response to someone else. Users like R1char and yabooka have put up some really solid, relevant points on this topic, so there's zero reason to kill the thread when there's still plenty left to discuss, explain, and prove. I'm hoping you guys can reopen it. If my post is the problem, just delete it and let the discussion get back on track...
If you're going to keep it locked, at least give us a real explanation why. Thanks.
Permanent ban... in Feedback & Suggestions ·
My bad for starting a new thread, I didn't see one already open up. That’s actually cool, though looking at some of those posts, a dedicated section might not even make much sense anyway... so yeah, whatever.

You're still hanging in there? 🙂 Look, you've got my full support if it actually makes a difference...

I'm really hoping I don't get hit with a permanent ban, but just in case it happens, is there actually any way to appeal one?
