Bear already gave you the lowdown on everything... honestly, what you really need is a solid training program—I’d personally recommend sticking to a full-body routine—and, of course, getting your nutrition dialed in! If you're looking to seriously build up those glutes, nothing beats deep squats where you really drive it all the way down to the floor! 😁I mean, seriously, what happens when you finally decide to just take that leap and make a real move? It’s like that sudden moment of clarity where everything just clicks, isn't it? You spend all this time overthinking every little detail, weighing the pros and cons until you're practically paralyzed, but then—boom!—you actually step forward. Is there anything more exhilarating than that initial push into the unknown? I honestly think that's where the magic starts happening!
Hey there! How’s everyone doing today?😘I honestly don't have nearly as much free time to hang out on Reddit as I used to, so I find myself popping in here pretty rarely these days!🙂I feel like I’ve finally got my nutrition dialed in, which is a huge win, but when it comes to those squats? Well, let's just say I’m about to turn up the intensity and really go all out on them!😉You're very welcome! I'm happy to help you get this exactly right. Just let me know what you need next!

Just grab some Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey or honestly any decent whey protein and call it a day! Mixing about 30g of protein with 50g of glucose is totally fine as long as your actual workout isn't a joke. I mean, if you show up to the gym just to grind out seven sets of crunches and a few leg curls—which is basically what 99% of girls do—then you're just wasting your time, so don't bother drinking anything because you haven't even burned enough calories to justify it!
I'm doing a ton of cardio and plenty of squats, but do you have any other suggestions? I am seriously open to any and all advice you can throw my way!😉 🙂
I’ve been thinking about picking up some protein powder from GNC lately, and I'm honestly torn between choosing the Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey or maybe going with Vega instead! Does anyone out there who actually knows their stuff have any advice on which one would be the better move for me?? To give you a little background, I'm naturally very slender—I've got pretty thin arms and legs, and my chest isn't exactly large—but I really want to start building some actual muscle, especially in my glutes since they're quite small right now... 😍..I did hear somewhere that you should aim for about 30g of protein right after a workout, paired with maybe 50g of glucose for energy... 🤷Thanks so much in advance for all the help!! 🙂

I gained weight really quickly and now I'm stuck with these bright red marks... will they eventually fade out on their own, or is there a way to make them disappear completely? Thanks!
I honestly can't recommend a blend of St. John's Wort, olive, and lavender oils enough... oh, and don't forget wheat germ oil too! It works wonders!🙂
I absolutely adore Diesel jeans, because since I have such a slender build, finding anything that actually fits me properly can be such a massive struggle... but honestly, Diesel has never once let me down!!!!
Patrick Carter said:The way you typed out those results is a bit messy, so it's hard to make sense of them. If you feel like it, retype everything and include your full CBC (complete blood count) and urinalysis—you can't get the full picture without the whole set. Did you get a coagulation profile done? What other blood tests did they run? I assume they did an EKG?
Your white cell count is only slightly elevated—nothing major—but without the rest of the blood work, there's no way to interpret it. How was your sedimentation rate? Check if there's a CRP level listed anywhere on the report.
That pH is slightly high, which suggests you've been hyperventilating—basically breathing too fast because you felt like you couldn't get enough air.
How old are you? Are you taking any other medications for different issues? When do these episodes happen? Is it while you're resting or after physical exertion? During the day, or at night? How long do they last? Do you work or go to school? Are you dealing with a lot of stress or problems in your life right now?
What you're describing sounds like it could be "hyperventilation syndrome" triggered by stress—maybe even stress you aren't consciously aware of. Some situation might be pushing you toward it—likely accumulated nerves, anxiety, or tension.
I doubt it's a primary heart issue, as you'd likely be seeing other symptoms.
Don't sweat the Yasmin—if you stopped three months ago, it's long since cleared your system.
Still, for your own peace of mind, go get a coagulation panel soon (that's the blood test that checks how well your blood clots).
Hey Patrick Carter, where are you? Help me out! I reposted those results... could you please help me make sense of them?
James Allen6 said:Kate Lee65, I suspect you might be dealing with some anxiety.
Perhaps you should switch over to the Psychology PDF, specifically the section on Panic Disorder.
I honestly don't think that's what it is, because lately, everything has been going so smoothly—work is fine, my personal life is steady, and things with my family are great... there's really nothing external causing this. But if I had to guess, maybe it's because I’m the type of person who just swallows everything and keeps it all bottled up inside? I feel like I have to be this unbreakable rock for everyone else whenever things go wrong, and I'm always too terrified or even embarrassed to actually show my own fears or emotions... so maybe it's all just built up over the years? I should also mention that I didn't even want to head to the ER during my first or second attack; I usually only see a doctor when things are truly dire. My fiancé actually had to practically force me to go because my veins were bulging and my pulse was racing so fast, plus I was feeling this sharp, stabbing pain... I've already shared most of the details, so I'm not quite sure what else to say! By the way, thank you so much for the help... every single bit of advice or suggestion means the world to me!

He’s in 4th grade now and everything feels just so overwhelming and complicated! It’s hardest on him, though, because he’s starting to lose his self-confidence and his belief in himself. Please, I'm asking for your help—I know if we put our heads together, we can figure this out!👍The doctors at Mayo Clinic suggested Ritalin or Concerta to help him primarily with schoolwork. DOES ANYONE HAVE MORE INFO ON THIS?????🙏
frozenhawk11, a close friend of mine went through almost the exact same thing with her little guy! Honestly, once she started him on medication, the poor kid was constantly exhausted, sleepy, and just totally withdrawn; that bright, bubbly little boy she knew just wasn't there anymore, so she decided to stop the treatment altogether... I don't know, maybe try getting a second opinion, or even better, just let him be who he is? That's actually what my friend ended up doing. By the way, he's such a normal kid now—so happy and communicative! They found an activity he absolutely loves, and that's where he gets to burn off all that extra energy!👍 👍 👍
Alex Sanchez5 said:Look, those symptoms sound a lot like acute anxiety—which, honestly, feels identical to a pre-heart attack state. It probably isn't anything life-threatening. If they ran an EKG on you at the ER, they would have caught any actual heart anomalies. You really need to try and relax and stop hyper-focusing on every single sensation—you're likely making the palpitations and shortness of breath worse just by obsessing over them. Another possibility might be a hiatal hernia; the symptoms are pretty much the same. To stop the guesswork and actually get some peace of mind, you should just go see an internist or a cardiologist. They'll clear everything up once and for all. 😉
Thanks so much... I am definitely going to make that appointment.😢😢😢

po2: 15.6,akt.hco3: 26.9,st.hco3: 27.5,tco2: 28,BEecf: 3.2,BE(b): 3.2,so2: 99,ph: 7.47...it says CRP is 1, if that's what you mean. For the EKG: HR 78bpm, vertical EL OS, incomplete right bundle branch block, PQ prolonged—about 20sec. I haven't done the urine test yet... and I was having the exact same problems last night.😢😢😢
Angela Wright said:My boyfriend went through every single one of those symptoms except for the blood work. It was terrifying for both of us. He would wake up in the middle of the night gasping for air, which just triggered more panic, making everything feel ten times worse... in the end, he was diagnosed with GERD. Just look closely at the symptoms. My theory is that your blood work looks like that because your GERD is being caused by H. pylori, which is essentially causing inflammation.
Go see a primary care physician, tell them about the GERD, and demand a referral to a gastroenterologist for an ultrasound, a gastroscopy, and a test for the bacteria.
Thank you so much for the advice, dear! I am honestly just so scared right now, so if anyone could kindly walk me through what these blood test results actually mean in more detail... I’m praying for some answers!😢😢
Douglas Fowler said:Honestly, this feels like it could be heart-related—and if that's the case, try taking Vitamin C in large doses. Maybe 5-6 grams a day... though if that's too much for your stomach, just scale back to whatever you can handle.
Do that for about two weeks—then you can drop down to half a gram or just one gram daily.
As for inflammation, if that's what we're actually looking at, MMS might help. You can find more info over at www.miraclemineral.org. There's also some stuff in my old posts you can read through... see what you think...
I’m going to give some Vitamin C a shot and see what happens—fingers crossed that it actually does the trick! Do you think it'll make a noticeable difference? I'm really hoping it helps!🙂🙂
Keith Thomas21 said:It’s possible you’re just experiencing a panic attack... I went through something similar myself—this strange, crawling sensation and a tingling numbness in my left arm, coupled with heart palpitations that lingered for a few days after I caught the news on CNN.
The attacks keep coming back in waves, and it’s terrifying! I get this sharp, stabbing pain right in my chest area, my left arm goes numb, and my feet feel tingly too—plus, I feel like I can't catch my breath at all... I don't even know how to explain it to you all, except that I am absolutely scared out of my wits. I feel this overwhelming, indescribable weakness, and I've already dropped at least 13 pounds! Please, if anyone has any advice, guidance, or even just some examples of what might be happening, I would be so incredibly grateful. Help me please!😢😢
I’ve been dealing with this racing heart for about four days now, along with pains running down my left arm and these scary moments where I feel like I just can't catch my breath... I actually ended up in the ER twice already! My blood work showed my white blood cell count was pretty high at 11.5, and they ran an acid-base panel which showed a pH of 7.47, PO2 of 15.6, active HCO3 at 26.9, standard HCO3 at 27.5, TCO2 at 28.00, BEecf at 3.2, Be(b) at 3.2, and SO2 at 99... They ruled out a pulmonary embolism, though they were definitely suspicious of one since I had been taking Yasmin until back in March. They sent me home, but honestly, nothing has changed and I'm still feeling all these symptoms! All they gave me was some Xanax to take whenever my heart starts pounding uncontrollably. I am just so incredibly worried, so please, if there is anyone here who understands what's going on—especially any doctors—could you please give me some advice? Besides everything else, I was diagnosed with a heart murmur about four years ago, and now my chart says 😛 palpitation, tachycardia, prolonged AV interval, compensated heart, leukocytosis... please, help me... I'm desperate for answers...
