Can't believe we just watched Pogačar grab his fifth Tour title, the guy is absolutely relentless. It was a bit of a bummer that they had to cut the final stage short because of those wildfires, though. Do you think the shortened route changed the vibe of the finish, or does the fifth win still stand as one of the greatest runs in cycling history?
The Editors were fantastic, though it’s a shame they took the stage so early in the set... Sergeant was a letdown, but then again, that’s Moby for you. Moby completely elevated the whole festival; he managed to pull everyone out of that absolute slump we were stuck in between the Editors and his set. The undisputed king of the festival.
Here’s what Franz Ferdinand played at their last festival set:
1. The Dark Of The Matinée 2. No You Girls 3. Do You Want To 4. Turn It On 5. Michael 6. Walk Away 7. Bite Hard 8. Take Me Out 9. Untitled Album 10. 40' 11. Lucid Dreams 12. Encore Performance Encore: 13. This Fire

And there you have it. The big names have already made their move, and now we’re left waiting for the wave of "one-hit wonder" bands that will inevitably fade into obscurity before the summer is even over. ☕

If only it were that simple... there's even talk about some high-end VIP festival happening during that same window, minus the actual music...
If you find a certain band boring, don't assume everyone else feels the same way. Personally, I find Kraftwerk incredibly dull... and honestly, you can't even put them in the same conversation as Mando Diao. 🤷
So, which indie or alternative band do you actually find fun to listen to?
