Yeah, tell me about it... whenever I feel like someone's chasing me in a dream... I just move at a snail's pace. They can sprint as hard as they want, but they never actually catch up... no matter how fast they run while I'm dragging my feet. It always settles down once I realize I'm just dreaming.

Happens to me too... just like what someone else mentioned earlier... tripping over a curb or something and wiping out on my bike... some guy told me it’s all about nerves or whatever... if you had a stressful day or something...
sometimes I get so stressed I practically jump out of my skin when I wake up.
