Tights, stockings... in Fashion ·
Arthur Thompson11 said:That new Bombastic spot that just opened up recently? 😍

That's it. 🙂
Oh, by the way, I just noticed they’ve actually knocked 50% off all those winter jackets too. It’s a pretty solid deal if you're looking to bundle up. I'll make sure to post all the details over in the sales thread in a bit.

Sam Cruz4 said:Honestly, the absolute best sheer tights I have ever laid hands on in my entire life are those chic silver low-waist ones from the Adriatic Sea line—specifically the medium shade, because that powder tone is just way too pale for my liking 🙂)) Every single one of my girlfriends was completely obsessed once I told them about them. Now, I’m on a mission to find some without the little polka dots; does anyone know where I can actually track those down?

So, I was browsing through Walmart today and spotted some $10. They’re almost like a light cream color, you know? Not quite skin tone, just really bright.

Also, just a little heads-up for those of you who do your shopping over in San Francisco—I swung by that new trendy boutique in the department store there and they had all sorts of tights and pantyhose in different thicknesses and patterns, all for just $6.25!! It’s wild because you see the exact same stuff at the street stalls along the boardwalk selling for 30.

Drew Gonzalez75 said:Where can I pick up some black tights with a back seam (that continuous line running down the entire length of the leg) in New York City, ideally on a budget?
I just picked some up at Victoria's Secret, and when I finally wore them today, they were already full of holes—and I didn't even snag them on anything. There were at least four different rips, and $15 I actually paid full price for them.
I need a size Medium, thanks.🙂

The ones from Small town, USA are actually really high quality, and the price is pretty much the same. They carry all the sizes, too.
Koka i duhovi (2011) in Movies ·
Yesterday I sat down with my little one (who's about 10), and honestly, we were both absolutely floored! 👍
Back in the day, I used to devour all those books about Coca-Cola, so I suppose a healthy dose of nostalgia probably nudged me toward this, but man, the child actors were just incredible—especially Koko and Zlatko—and the music was stellar, really, almost everything about it hit the mark! 😍
Even the fact that the movie is set back in the eighties felt pretty cool (though that might just be me being biased because of my own upbringing 😉, and I totally get why the creator wanted to leave such a personal touch), though I suspect nothing would have been lost if they’d just set it in the present day. One thing that did bug me, though, was that the author wasn't quite historically accurate; instead of calling them the POLICE, they used the term MILITIA, and even then, the officer's hat featured the American crest 😕. Maybe they did that just to avoid questions from kids? 🤔 Or should we just view it as some sort of parallel reality where this story unfolds? Personally, I’ve always been a sucker for authenticity. 🤷
Tight-fitting shoes in Fashion ·
If they’re genuine leather, there’s still hope. 🙂 Like vividrider98 mentioned, you can actually have a cobbler stretch them out on a shoe stretcher, and I think there’s also some kind of "elasto-something" spray you can mist over them to soften the material and help them expand. Between those two things, you might actually have a shot.
The only real dealbreaker is if the sole itself is cut too narrow; if that's the case, the bottom is always going to feel tight no matter what. I actually have a pair just like that, and honestly, I can only get away with wearing them if I have on really thin stockings.

Steven Green2 said:I guess it really just comes down to what works for you personally. Since I’ve always been a bit of a guinea pig when it comes to experimenting on myself—especially with what I eat—I’ve found I feel my absolute best when I aim for a macro split of about 40% protein, 30% fats, and 30% carbs. Mind you, I’m doing this within a maintenance calorie range, usually north of 3,000 calories a day, just to hit some specific fitness goals I've set for myself. Carbs aren't exactly my best friend, so I try to get them mostly from veggies, fruit, and oatmeal; I tend to skip those heavy starchy foods you see at the bottom of those standard food pyramids altogether. As for fats, I lean heavily on olive, flaxseed, and fish oils—usually landing somewhere between 50 to 100 grams, though some days I'll even push past the 100g mark 😍. 😉

The Zone diet? 😉
HPV vaccine discussion in Women's Health ·
From what I’ve gathered, the HPV vaccine really ought to be part of the standard immunization schedule for all women between the ages of 9 and 26—though, don't quote me on the exact age range there, my memory isn't perfect.
That would mean getting it for free! 👍
(Please, feel free to set me straight if I've got the details wrong!)

The thing is, though, what happens to those of us who are already over 26? I'm guessing we'll just have to foot the bill ourselves. 👎

And honestly, you can be the most devoted, faithful woman in the world, staying true to your very first partner, but if he was even once with someone else who was infected before he met you—well, you're still screwed!
