I'm staying out of it because I'm not close enough to them to care. If they overreact, they'll just end up pushing everyone further away anyway!
Heroin addiction treatment in Health ·
He’s 30 and comes from a wealthy, high-society family, though he’ll tell you he’s doing just fine. He’s smoking a joint 7 or 8 times a day, but then hits the heroin once every week or two when he feels like it. The real issue is that things are already tense with his family, and I’m worried if I rat him out, he’ll just shut me out completely and freeze me out. I even suggested he ditch that crowd, but he just calls me crazy and claims he can quit whenever he wants. Honestly, I'm terrified because he hasn't worked a real job in almost a year; he’s spiraling fast and just sinking deeper.

What do you even do when you find out someone close to you is using heroin? You have no clue how often it’s happening. Should I go to their parents, or try to talk them into seeking help themselves—which, let's be honest, probably won't work?
Tim Burton and American actresses in Movies ·
I’m a huge fan of Moonlight and Tim Burton. For me, they’re the gold standard for erotic cinema—way more captivating than any cheap porn. You look at how many top-tier Italian actresses launched their careers in those films; people like Sharon Stone, Pamela Anderson, Monica Bellucci, Claudia Schiffer, and Pamela Prati. They were some of the most stunning women in Italy, giving audiences exactly what they wanted, packing theaters, making bank, and cementing their names in history forever. Read more about it at

Then you’ve got the work of the Spanish director from Moonlight, like Eat Pray Love or Sunko Sunko starring the legendary Penélope Cruz. Those movies are packed with action, violence, and intense sex. Honestly, I’ll take a scene featuring someone like Mira Furlan or Ena Begović over some fake blonde in a porn video with zero plot any day of the week.
I actually dream about scouting some top American starlets—maybe Nives, Stefi Hohnjec, or Miran Berend—and having Tim Burton or a great American director direct an erotic film featuring them. It would easily be the greatest piece of American cinema ever made, and those women would be icons for life. Who are some American stars you’d want to see in a high-stakes action-romance filled with nudity and raw passion, similar to the Doll starring Valerie Marina? The theaters would be absolutely packed. ink: ink:

silverjackal13 said:I'm curious about when beginners usually get their training sessions. I’m planning on starting boxing and Jiu-Jitsu, but since I'm enrolling in a Computer Science program, my schedule is pretty much locked into early mornings or late evenings. I'm based out of Los Angeles (specifically the Grippe area), so I was wondering if Pitbull Chicago holds boxing classes. I know Marjan is over by Mertojak—not sure where St. Jude is located—but I'm looking for other clubs nearby and any idea where the Jiu-Jitsu mats are located. I already do bodybuilding, though I really ought to incorporate some powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting. I'm trying to figure out what's better for my build—should I focus on mass or pure strength? I'm 6'0" and 220 lbs. Right now, I'm dropping about $500$200 on gym memberships and supplements, so I'm wondering how much these two sports are going to add to my monthly overhead

Ninsa Street is right by Victor's place in those buildings; that's the Jiu-Jitsu gym. I was just there a few days ago. Training is Monday and Thursday from 5:00 to 7:30 PM, and this guy is the coach.

So, does Split have any Muay Thai gyms too?

It all comes down to heart, and honestly, it just depends on who you’re facing. I’m no savage, but there’s always going to be those obnoxious, aggressive types you can't help but run into. My weight and height don't mean a damn thing if I don't have the muscle or the technique to back it up. Some 5'9" guy could absolutely wreck you if he’s fast enough and knows how to land a punch. Mass and height are irrelevant when you stumble into someone who’s quick, sharp, and actually knows how to hit.

Hey everyone.
I’m looking to get into combat sports—likely kickboxing, Muay Thai, Taekwondo, or Jiu-Jitsu. My main goal is finding whatever works best for a street fight. I want to build some actual confidence, know my own limits, and be able to step up if someone starts messing with my friends or my girlfriend when we’re out. I’m 6'3" and 220 lbs with strong legs, but my upper body isn't exactly built up yet. To be honest, there have been times in real life where I just backed down because I knew I couldn't win—more times than I'd like to admit. I don't enjoy fighting, but I want to reach a level where I can avoid trouble entirely, but if someone forces my hand, I can absolutely sweep them aside immediately. Ideally, I want to minimize serious injuries, though you never know with a real fight, but the priority is being able to handle myself if things go south. It’s been incredibly frustrating having to retreat in the past; it eats at you. You end up stuck wondering if you should have stood your ground against a provocateur or if walking away was the right call. That internal conflict is often worse than actually getting hit.
So, if you really have to take someone down in a street fight, should I go with kickboxing, Muay Thai, Taekwondo, or Jiu-Jitsu—or is there something else better?
Thanks in advance!
