PC won't recognize external hard drive

So you're telling me those HDDs are just junk... I mean, seriously, do you honestly think anyone would actually pay $0.33 for a perfectly good hard drive? I’ve got one exactly like yours sitting right here, and honestly, it runs just as smooth as if it were plugged into an official serial cable. Now, get this—I’m actually using an old Nokia USB cable as my connection, which is basically twice as long as the standard stuff. It's wild. But man, don't even bother trying the front USB ports on my PC; they won't power it up at all. Out of the four ports on the back, only one single port actually works for it. Total headache.
