It’s honestly brutal to think about how much one bad break or a bit of bad luck can derail a person's entire career trajectory. You work your whole life for one specific moment, only to have it snatched away by something completely out of your control. Does anyone else think the mental toll of being "almost there" is harder than just failing entirely?

I just scrolled through that thread about the lady looking at the Ka, the 500, or an Ypsilon, and honestly, some of this is just baffling to me. There’s one user attacking Michael Lee4 because he called the Fiat 500 a "classic little cruiser," claiming there's absolutely no connection between that car and the label. While technically true, good grief—it’s like getting yelled at just because someone calls a VW New Beetle a "bug." It’s such a trivial, pointless nitpick that I don't even see why anyone would bother thinking about it, let alone writing a whole post about it. I can only imagine the mods have to deal with this kind of nonsense on a daily basis.

Now, I’m not trying to play devil's advocate for anyone here; I’m just trying to see things from their perspective.

I don't know, there was a time when I was on Reddit every single day, posting constantly. I actually made a really great friend through it all! But nowadays, I feel like I can predict exactly who is going to say what and what they’re going to bicker about before they even type it. To be honest, I regret even jumping into this discussion because it just proves how much the quality of topics has tanked lately. I truly miss the old days of the forum. It's such a shame...

When you look at the sheer volume of posts, the number of threads started, and the years spent hanging out on the Reddit Auto forum, Michael Lee4 is basically irreplaceable. That specific topic you were writing about is just one example of how things go down here—it’s an endless loop of bickering, trying to outsmart one another, and constant debating. Generally speaking, I can already tell which threads are destined to be locked by default because some people are just waiting for a chance to troll, and in those cases, it's better to nip it in the bud immediately. Granted, there's that theory that everything becomes more tempting once it's forbidden, but I truly see no reason why Michael Lee4 should be removed.

And no, I'm not defending him just because we've never actually met, spoken, or had any kind of contact in real life.

One more thing: Arguing on the internet is like competing on the special Olympics. Even if you win, you're still a retard. 😉
