Oh, thanks a million! I actually didn't click on that "advanced drive options" button yet 😁

I just saw this one sentence:
"WARNING: You may not have the Drive options (advanced) option unless the installation is done at boot, and not running the installation from within your current OS."

I'm honestly not even sure if that button was there for me to begin with! So, does that mean I need to pop the DVD in, restart the computer, and make sure the DVD drive is set to boot first, or 🙂?

Man, I really hope I can pull this off! Everything else seems to be moving along smoothly, except for that formatting part... but hey, we'll see how it goes, right? 🙂

Does anyone actually know why every single time I try to reinstall Windows 7 Ultimate x64, it won't even give me the option to format the drive? :S
It just asks me which partition I want to install Windows on, and once I pick one, it just sails right through the installation without formatting anything! It ends up dumping all my old files into a Windows.old folder instead.
So, does anybody have a clue why this keeps happening to me? :SS
