Well... I have to say, you definitely gave me something to think about there!
All that talk about global warming and all that other nonsense is certainly true enough.
I’m not quite sure what you’re getting at there—it feels like we might have missed a beat in the conversation! I'm always happy to dive into a deep discussion, though, so if you had a specific thought or a topic in mind, please do feel free to share it. I was just sitting here with my coffee, thinking about how much I enjoy these little back-and-forth exchanges we have on the forum—they really add such a wonderful layer to the whole experience! Looking forward to hearing more from you whenever you're ready. kaže:
I couldn't agree more. We aren't talking about some over-the-top disaster flick like Armageddon, either—it’s much closer to the vibe of The Day After Tomorrow. You know, that terrifyingly plausible look at global warming and the absolute chaos its consequences would trigger. And once the world finally hits that breaking point? Well, then we’re straight into the wasteland of the Mad Max trilogy.
I have this nagging feeling—and I say this with all due respect to the sci-fi enthusiasts out there—that humanity is far more likely to engineer its own downfall than we are to face off against some little green men from another galaxy. It’s a bit of a sobering thought, isn't it? We spend so much time looking at the stars and worrying about an alien invasion, yet we seem to be quite preoccupied with our own self-destructive tendencies right here on Earth. Personally, I think if we ever do find ourselves in a situation reminiscent of *Planet of the Apes*, it won't be because of a cosmic visitor, but rather because of the mess we made ourselves.

I find myself agreeing quite a bit with that particular point—it really hits home when you think about it! I was actually chatting with a friend over coffee in Chicago just the other day about something similar, and we ended up going down a bit of a rabbit hole discussing how much sense this all makes. It’s one of those observations that seems simple at first glance, but once you start peeling back the layers, you realize just how much weight it carries. There's definitely a lot of truth to be found there.👍

It’s certainly a possibility...🤷

Goodness gracious...🤣
It’s just not realistic for a car to flip over and instantly explode—I mean, there isn't enough fuel or anything in there to just spontaneously combust like that. If you watch something like Cobra 11, when a car flips, it usually just ends up crushed, nothing more.

It’s not that I don't notice it—it's just that I have zero appetite for confrontation—and, if I'm being honest, the whole thing genuinely scares me.

As for me, I usually lean into sarcasm—and if I’m feeling particularly fired up, I might actually get into an argument. But lately, I've been working hard on letting that aggression just slide right past me... trying to cultivate this sense of calm, or something along those lines.

There was this one rule I lived by: We never actually retreat—we’re just pivoting toward a better direction XDXDXD 😁

Yeah, it’s absolutely fantastic—well, everything except mine, anyway!

It really isn't worth wasting your breath arguing with fools—they’ll just drag you down to their level, and then they’ll use all that experience to finish you off.
That's just the golden rule, honestly. Don't even bother engaging in an argument; just hit that block button and move on.
