Does anyone have footage, or maybe some vintage tour shirt I could track down?
- Please describe what the experience was like for you. 😉😉

Heh, I’m fully equipped, seeing as my The Doors fever has been raging for nineteen years now; though I won't be parting with my shirts, as they've basically become my summer pajamas... 😉and I'm certainly not young enough to be strutting around town in them. I noticed you're from Miami, so if you want to hunt for gear, head over to a local record shop—they usually carry their merch, biographies, and DVDs, though honestly, you can find all the original material on YouTube without any hassle...
As for my take on them, Jim was undeniably a legend; he wasn't just handsome and charismatic, but possessed a genuine intellect... 😁
I've always appreciated The Doors' shows for their simplicity, lacking all those flashy light shows and gimmicks—though Jim might have occasionally reached for a simple lighter... it was really just standard arenas filled with thousands of people, combined with Jim's raw energy and the incredible musicianship of the other three.

FACTUAL... I can think of a perfectly obvious example where Jim met Patricia—that journalist who was basically a witch—back in 1969, yet Stone filmed a scene showing her at a concert in New Haven that actually took place in 1967, just a day after his birthday. I even recall the title card reading 1968 right under New Haven... he pretty much scrambled the entire timeline...😲

happy birthday Jim 😁
Leon ... Leon is a pro
Big Blue ... That vast expanse of blue
Brokeback Mountain ... High on the ridge 😬
A Clockwork Orange ... Pure madness
Cat People ... Something more primal

Not quite my top five, but I still have them all on VHS 😁
Donnie Darko is essentially an antisocial teenager struggling with schizophrenia, constantly tormented by his peers at school, who spends every night before bed taking pills that actually intensify his visions... which he then recounts to the psychiatrist his parents hired to help him, if anyone recalls, who near the end insists on increasing his dosage..
The movie is packed with great 80s tracks—Gary Jules, Tears for Fears, Duran Duran... It’s quite symbolic and carries a lot of weight..
I wouldn't go so far as to say the film is a masterpiece... but it's good and certainly deserves some attention.😁

The movie is definitely overrated... it seems like they just crank out those queer themes year after year because they know they sell...
people are clearly exhausted by those predictable romantic comedies starring Jennifer Aniston 🙂
Still, there are a few standout moments, like that scene with Sean and James in the subway, or the one where Sean discovers the dead guy...
The costume design is actually quite solid, though; it pulls you right back into the 70s... almost feels like watching Dirty Harry...

Personally, I always found Mountain to be the more impulsive one 🙂)) Besides, Jack and Heath really had to break the ice... it certainly wasn't easy for those two... 🙂))

It feels more like a tribute to the man himself than anything else 😉

The movie is decent enough... I suppose... and I have to admit, Timothée Chalamet really does bear a striking resemblance to Leonardo DiCaprio... in those roles where they both play the same type of character... :P
I recently discovered Oscar Isaac, who played Jack Gilford... he has a rather striking screen presence with that certain queer energy😉
