Hey everyone, I’ve run into a bit of a snag 😢
For the past two days, my laptop screen has been flickering—it just kind of shakes. It started out quite randomly yesterday, and usually, I can just reboot the system and everything goes back to normal, but this time it won't stop. Now, even when I have my desktop setup running, there's a slight tremor, and the second I try to click anything, the shaking gets really intense. I did some digging online and found a suggestion to head into the Control Panel, go through Properties, Settings, then Advanced, and look under Monitor to adjust the screen refresh rate. I thought I'd give that a shot, but it's proving to be pretty useless since the moment I attempt to click on the Control Panel, the screen starts vibrating so badly that I can't actually see where I'm going.
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?
The laptop itself is an older model—I've had it for about nine years now—and it's still running Windows XP. It's never actually been sent in for repairs or anything like that; I suppose I'm not exactly a power user, so maybe that's why it's managed to hold up this long.

I’ve never been much of a fan when it comes to those kinds of remakes—they rarely hit the mark for me—but I suppose this one might actually turn out okay. I watched High Tension by that French director a while back, and I have to say, it wasn't half bad.

So, I finally sat down to watch the movie last night... or rather, early this morning, since it was already 3:00 AM by then.
I have to say, I found it pretty disappointing—I’d heard it was supposed to be gripping and genuinely terrifying, but I just couldn't see what people were talking about. To me, it felt tedious and wasn't scary at all; in fact, I actually found myself laughing during that scene where the guy is trying to sleep and that dead girl starts pulling the covers off him... 😂for some reason, I just found the whole thing hilarious.
