Hey there! 😁

My top 5 absolute worst picks for men's footwear:

1) Those toe shoes with the single toe gap 😱
2) Flip-flops
3) Strappy sandals—honestly, any open-toed shoe at all
4) Those double-monk strap loafers 😬
5) Just those standard, stuffy dress shoes you'd wear to a wedding

Look, men just need to stick to sneakers. Ideally Vans or some classic Adidas Old Skools. Period.

🙂

He's not even that hot, he just has a good vertical. 😬

Thanks for the photos, though. I'll stick to watching other sports... 😘

My top 5 hottest athletes:

5. Ciriaco Sforza - Probably doesn't hold up as well today, but that teenage obsession means he has to be on the list. 😳
4. Jure Košir
3. Gianluca Basile
2. Ivano Balić 😍
1. Dejan Bodiroga 🙂

Of course, they're all married now. 😬
Danica is great 🙂

@stormyviper11/">@@stormyviper11: Do you happen to have any more photos of Björn Einar? 🙂

Just a bunch of young doctors in their white coats 😍 little nuggets 😍 😍 like this young intern from Mayo Clinic about five years ago 😍 😍 😍

Pilots are the same way 😍 honestly, it would be amazing to work as a flight attendant 😬

So, if anyone else is selling... let me know.

I'll check things out and get back to you tomorrow morning. 😉

Austin Doyle40 said:Do you want to bet on it? There's absolutely no way you'll find any tickets on Urban Travel. 😁

I don't feel the need to argue with you because I’m completely certain about what I'm saying. Especially regarding the tickets—they were actually already spoken for the moment the media received that notice claiming they were sold out. I had personally reserved them for some folks traveling in from out of town. 😉

briskpuma19 said:With all this cynicism going on, the tickets are already sold out, so we might as well just close this thread.

No one was actually trying to be cynical; the goal was just to set the record straight regarding the misinformation. Why shouldn't someone who hasn't saved up enough yet, or plans to buy their tickets next week, or simply lives outside of Chicago, have the right to know if tickets are still available?

The concert isn't actually sold out—like I mentioned earlier in my thread about DM, there are still tickets available over at Urban Travel, located in the courtyard at 61 Ilica. You can just ignore those official notices 😉

We could, but lunch is at Borje. 🙂

Hehe, yeah. Honestly, playing with amateurs is kind of a drag, and you’re pretty much the only one who might actually give me a run for my money. 😬

And naturally, lunch is at Borje. 🙂

The only thing I ever spread on toast:
plain cream cheese, about 2 cm thick. 🙂

Well, we really should plan a trip to the Grand Canyon once the weather warms up image image image image

Oh, and honestly, forget those competitions 😬

And video games too 😬

My top 5 most awkward trips by bus:

1) Leaving from Miami when the bus caught fire, leaving us stuck near a rest stop in the middle of the night in the pouring rain waiting for a replacement.
2) Heading to Zurich, when some guy tried to smuggle a whole roasted pig in an Adidas bag in the luggage compartment 😬 and the Swiss customs officers wouldn't let us cross the border because the owner of the bag refused to come forward.
3) Leaving from Orlando, on a bus run by a local transport company out of a small town, packed with soldiers returning from their weekend leave—and I was the only woman on the entire bus.
4) When the bus broke down somewhere in the middle of nowhere between two rural towns, and some guy actually had to pee inside the bus because the doors were jammed shut.
4) Sitting next to this heavy-set lady who spent the entire ride from Chicago to Atlanta devouring stuffed peppers while it was 95 degrees inside and the AC was broken (and I was already feeling sick).

My #1 favorite trip by the ocean:

When I set off on a ferry from an island intending to dock in a major port and catch a bus, but the crowds were so massive that I just decided to hitch a ride on the ferry all the way to a coastal city instead. I ate some delicious sandwiches, slept through the night on a couch in the lounge, and there was this old man playing "Besame Mucho" on a piano.😍

sour milk 🙂

btw, what do you mean by Macola? You probably mean that stuff from Borje before Plitvice, right? 🙂

Poor Wall Street.

A Velvet Underground
Washing Machine
Sonic Nurse
Wall Street
Goo
Dirty
NYC Ghosts & Flowers
Experimental Jet Set, Trash and the Spiders

zeliže, truly a terrible selection 😬

Carrots 3, 4, and 5 plus rosemary and basil 🙂

Samuel Murphy6, that is a terrible choice 😬

2. long hair
Driving a car. 😈
Bringing your boyfriend home for lunch? Now that’s a classic milestone. It feels like such a big step, doesn't it? You’re basically introducing him to the family inner circle over a meal. I always think there's something so much more intimate about a Sunday brunch or a casual lunch than a fancy dinner out. It’s cozy, it’s real, and it really lets you see how everyone clicks. Good luck!
Time for coffee number five.

Samuel Murphy6 said:I'm not sure about the situation over by the bridge. We should probably touch base with Pat. You down to grab some gyro with us?

Count me in! Make it a veggie gyro 🙂

As for walking, I spent a solid 8 years training back in Indianapolis. Every single time I missed that last fourteen-minute interval at 11:20 PM (which was basically every other day 😁) I’d just walk from the bridge all the way home—and that was right after two hours of intense training. So, please, be kind ☕

Besides, I don't really have the budget for driving school anyway. Even if I did, I'd much rather spend the money on something else entirely 😬

And that's something I'll probably never get to see happen. 😬

stormyviper11 said:That’s exactly what I thought back when I was your age, but look at me now: I write reviews for Autoweek, I'm constantly swapping out cars... I even catch myself grabbing a passenger's leg instead of the gear shifter sometimes 😳 which gets pretty awkward, because I know nobody would believe me if I said it wasn't on purpose... 😢

Ahem, well... I think I've reached the age where any kind of transformation feels impossible 😁

True, and another big factor is that I live right in the heart of the city, so I've honestly never really needed a car. Though, I won't admit that you can't get around without one—I walk quite regularly when heading home from places, and it's really not as bad as all you drivers seem to think 🙂
