It is plain as day from a bird's-eye view that our style of play is steadily declining.

Was it a lack of preparation? Think back to how we completely fell apart in Atlanta despite being fully prepared. Plus, the European championships always seem to be a bit of a jinx for us.
Our game completely fell apart by the 15th minute, which really just comes down to our lack of physical conditioning and a thin bench. With the World Cup coming up next year, I’m hopeful we can recreate that energy we saw in Athens, provided we finally take some actual lessons to heart from this EP.
If we play with even half that level of intensity, we won't just be hanging on by a thread—we'll be walking away with a comfortable lead. We're going to absolutely dominate them in the second half.
