Anyone waiting on a ride? in Music ·
http://www.spreha.net/sane-dajmo-im-da-sviraju I know, I know—I’m digging this up from the archives here... totally bringing up old news, but apparently they're actually back in the studio recording a new album
It’s not actually about the finger 🙂—as I was trying to explain earlier—it’s more about the back of the palm... 😁
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flexor_...ofundus_muscle

I’m fairly certain I’ve gone and injured the tendon associated with the Flexor Digitorum Profundus—if I’m using the right terminology, at least... basically, while I was out rock climbing, I felt this sharp twinge in the fleshy part of my palm, and now there’s this tiny little lump right where it hurts (I think I can feel 😁)

The thing is, there hasn't been any swelling or discoloration, and the pain isn't exactly agonizing... it's just that when I try certain grips, my hand feels a bit weaker and I get this dull ache

So, I decided to take a break from climbing for about two weeks—just to be safe—and I've been massaging the area three times a day along with some very gentle, controlled stretching

Is there anything else I could be doing to help speed up the recovery process? Honestly, I'd appreciate any advice you all might have 🙂
Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
Hi there,
I’m looking for some recommendations for a urologist in New York City—ideally someone who accepts Medicare... I’ve been dealing with some pretty complicated health issues that are starting to take a toll on my libido, and my current urologist doesn't seem interested in actually digging deep to find the root cause. He just wants to write a prescription for Viagra and call it a day... 🤣 (feel free to send any suggestions via PM)
I figured I’d jump in and start a little thread here regarding alternative options...

If you're looking for the deep dive, this site has just about everything you need to know about LDN: http://www.lowdosenaltrexone.org/

So, just to give some context—Naltrexone is actually an FDA-approved medication here in the States; it’s been around since 1984, typically prescribed at 50mg doses to help people weaning off heroin or opioids by essentially blocking those effects (there's a much more thorough breakdown of how that works on the website)
. Back in 1985, dr. Bihari, who was running his own practice over in New York City, noticed something unexpected... he found that using tiny amounts of Naltrexone—just 3mg a day—actually seemed to boost the immune response in patients dealing with HIV.
Then, moving into the mid-90s, dr. Bihari discovered that these low doses might also assist patients fighting cancer—in some cases, the results were quite dramatic, even surpassing what you'd see from Mekki 😁. On top of that, a number of people have found they can actually manage their autoimmune conditions using LDN...

Anyway, that’s just a brief little overview... everything else is laid out clearly on the site.😁

One more thing I should probably mention, though... you don't have to buy into any specific theories or believe in pharmaceutical conspiracy plots to look into this. At the end of the day, it's a substance just like any other—it has its own set of side effects and its own specific impacts. Just do your own reading and stay informed... the website provides plenty of links to all the existing research involving LDN if you want to dig deeper.
