Good grief, I can only begin to imagine a scenario where the bars and restaurants are actually running normally for those just trying to survive 🤣
The possibilities for chaos are endless—everything from intentional infections and falsified test results to cold-blooded murders fueled by pure jealousy 🙏
I just finished watching The Platform, and honestly, it was incredibly gripping.
Then there’s The Occupant, which follows this absolutely wretched individual operating out of Barcelona. It touches on themes that I think anyone can find themselves relating to on some level. ☕
And now I’m onto the first season of Cudotvorac—what an absolute powerhouse of a series. 🙏🙏
Well... then the Pope runs into Jason from Friday the 13th, and he tells him: "Your mask doesn't mean a thing if you just keep charging straight at people." 😂
It’s like watching Dad go door-to-door during Halloween, knocking on everyone's house while they all act like they don't have a cent to spare, yet somehow this guy over here is walking around with pockets absolutely bursting with cash. He actually has the nerve to tell him, "Don't worry about making a profit," only for the other one to snap back, "I've already got my costume; why don't you just grab one yourself and stop stressing?" 😂
If you’re planning on diving into Altered Carbon, do yourself a favor and just stick to the books. Honestly, the series is five times better than the source material; I couldn't even make it through the first episode and a half because it was just so incredibly shallow.
The idea that people confirmed to be infected are just walking around freely is the absolute rock bottom of human behavior. It’s a failure for them personally, and an absolute disgrace for the entire system. You really just want to toss the whole thing overboard immediately.
And then there's this point Joseph Clark37 is making.
urbanhawk17 said:What kind of political game? Like I said, these people won't give up an inch of anything just to keep their voters in line.
It doesn't matter what their intentions are. It’s like when a faucet either bursts or starts dripping so incessantly that life becomes unbearable.
If there was ever a moment to make some serious cuts, this is it.
Of course, the heavyweights of crony capitalism and those who live off the public teat are still firmly in power, so we won't see any planned reforms anytime soon. But there are other ways things could play out—perhaps people will finally lose their patience and actually show up at the polls, or maybe we'll hit total bankruptcy and be forced into a healthier economic scenario under pressure from our creditors.
