Does anyone know where I can get a fecal calprotectin test done? I’ve been searching online, but the information out there is incredibly thin. I’d prefer private labs or clinics, though I'm open to other options. I’ve already combed through service lists and pricing for several local medical centers, but nothing turns up. It’s baffling why this isn't more readily available, especially since I really need to get this screening completed.

Tuberculosis awareness
in Health ·
I’m completely lost here.🤣 It seems like anyone diagnosed with TB is automatically forced into hospital confinement. But we know people can carry this disease for ages without even realizing it because they don't show any distinct symptoms. So how is it that they live perfectly normal lives during that entire incubation period, yet the moment they get a diagnosis, it's an immediate trip to the hospital?🤷
Best PC monitoring software?

William Myers7 said:There are plenty of options out there. Try one of these two: Linktree! Compare them and pick whichever fits your style better...
And how is the user supposed to know if that software is actually installed?
Alright, let's try to pinpoint the actual cause here. Could it just be simple exposure to the cold?🤷 For instance, if I step outside in the middle of January without any protection for my face.
I'm honestly terrified of this🤣, especially since three of my close relatives dealt with it. In all three cases, it was triggered by being out in the elements with wet hair.

Fainted / Passed out

For the last few weeks, I've been dealing with this overwhelming sense of weakness. It’s paired with nausea, a nervous sensation in my stomach, dizziness, and slight tremors... almost like I’m about to pass out, though it never actually happens.
I initially suspected it was blood pressure issues, since I’ve always had low blood pressure; whenever I bend over and stand up quickly, my vision goes black.
However, it doesn't seem to be my pressure. I tried following dietary advice specifically for people with low blood pressure, but it hasn't made any difference at all.
It consistently occurs during the first half of the day—roughly from the morning until about 2 or 3 PM—and can persist for several hours. It happens regardless of what I'm doing or whether I've eaten or not... it just lingers for hours. 😕 Sometimes it lasts the entire morning. Generally, I feel better later on, in the afternoon and evening. 🤷
edit:
I forgot to mention: it isn't anemia, and my thyroid is fine too. 🤷

How do I use Multi-Quote?
in Forum Help! ·
Rachel Palmer said:you totally forget to delete that massive quote box that pops up automatically when you click the quote icon at the bottom of a post.....
So, yeah, just clear out that first big quote before you start typing your reply. But if you do that, you lose the username and the link to their actual post. So what I usually do—my little workaround—is just grab[/I]
the end of the post and paste it right onto the end of the first section you want to talk about. Then, for everything else, just use that "highlight then quote" trick.

Let's see how it goes.
If this doesn't work, I'm done.🙄
Period talk: Questions and advice
in Women's Health ·
I understand that stress can cause a period to be late or even skip a month entirely, but is it possible for it to arrive early for the same reason?
In my case, my last two cycles were both about a week shorter than usual, and I can only attribute that to the stress mentioned above.🤷

Criminal profiling: What makes them tick?

Robert Gomez6 said:Even a total psychopath or a sadist could walk into a gas station just to feed on someone else's fear... you can never truly know...
Fine🤣, that specific example is irrelevant. My point was simply that I don't see white-collar financial fraud and homicide sitting in the same category.🤷
Criminal profiling: What makes them tick?

So, what actually constitutes a crime? Are we talking about a gas station robbery or a brutal murder involving thirty stab wounds? 🤷 In my view, these initial offenses are simply reflections of pure lack of discipline, laziness, and a total absence of morality—not necessarily the result of a broken mind.🤷
Dealing with bad cramps?
in Women's Health ·
Basically, two or three days before my period starts, I almost always deal with diarrhea and general digestive issues. If that doesn't happen, at least I get these intense cramps that feel like a precursor to the diarrhea.🙏To be honest, I don't know a single woman in real life who deals with this. Usually, their pain stems from something else entirely.🤣So now I’m wondering, am I some kind of rare outlier here?🙄And if any of you happen to be going through the same thing, how do you handle it? Because this is absolute torture every single month.😠🙄
What is the point of the ER?

Eric Wright29 said:If you were faced with ten emergencies and only one ambulance, I suspect your little philosophical debates would go silent pretty fast.
Here’s a suggestion: call 911, ask for help, and when they tell you they can't make it, drive past the local hospital and see how many ambulances are actually sitting in the lot.☕
