But honestly, looking back at the last few years, it feels like the US has been absolutely dominating the basketball scene, consistently staying right at the top of the rankings...
Screw Denmark, who will probably slide down to sixth place after this gold medal run; screw the Spaniards who got knocked out in the opening round (or whenever that was); screw the Poles who just rely on brute force; and screw the Germans, who always seem to limp through thanks to some questionable officiating from the refs...
I guess the only ones who might actually give us a run for our money are the French...
